  1. Yeah, I overheard some Husky fans say they just drop the dump truck full of cash on Petersen's driveway.
  2. Thanks, Jon. Lake will make a fine DC somewhere next year. I'm not sure he gets past this suspension week.
  3. Yeah, probably doing the Huskies a favor as it was just one more reason to get rid of Lake and move on to something better.
  4. I appreciate it. The Huskies tend to get the juices flowing which got the ink flowing out of my pen....
  5. The Cougars should win, but I personally never underestimate WSU's ability to COUG IT!
  6. Rest assured, as I heard several throughout the evening, there are plenty of Husky fans who want Lake's head. Your friends must still be in denial, as the first stage of recovery is ACCEPTANCE. ; )
  7. The only question is: Was it a conspiracy? Or, did the snapper act alone? ; )
  8. And hopefully our defense has breakout game and totally shuts the Huskies down. I feel like the defense is next in taking it to the next level of which I believe they are capable.
  9. ... but practice makes perfect. Had the Ducks struggled offensively I would be having a very negative outlook on being able to run the table.
  10. No punts... I remember when the punter used to always be Oregon's best player! Tommy Thompson, anybody?
  11. Ah, an Altman comparison, that can only be a good thing.
  12. Good stuff. The team seems to be growing together at just the right time.
  13. Getting healthy is key, such as having Thibs back healthy.
  14. Would be nice if the Ducks can build some confidence throwing the ball downfiled in this game, for sure.
  15. I'm not quite sure they were at a point where they could go all run, they still needed some first downs. They were just awful decisions by AB.
  16. Certainly not win games with his arm, though his feet have worked well late in games. As you point out his main limitation is throwing the ball downfield, is this something they could improve upon? Could Moorhead scheme something up to help this out? Teams should be looking for those sidline passes, perhaps the Ducks can use that to their advantage by pump faking to the outside then hit something over the middle... but of course it all comes down to AB's accuracy.
  17. I think he just needs to do whatever helps him call his best game, and that may well be up in the box!
  18. Yup, and this is a great opportunity this Saturday to fine tune the areas that the Ducks excel at.
  19. True. I think if the Ducks are in command late, instead of putting in Thompson, they should keep AB in and work on some areas.
  20. Great take, Joshua. While I'm not expecting the Ducks to rise to Georgia's level, I just hope they can crank it up a notch to carry the team through the remaining, relatively soft, schedule.
  21. Exactly what had popped in my mind....
  22. High flying Defense paired with a bend but don't break Offense! Go Ducks!!!
  23. If the Ducks could only just step up the Defense AND Passing game .... boy am I asking for a lot!!! ; )
  24. When I mentioned 2007 I was referring to that era of football (like the LSU Tigers back then) not specifically the 2007 Ducks, but you make solid points about that 2007 team. Certainly not on Georgia's level, but the Ducks can step it up on D to help win out a relatively weak remaining schedule.
