  1. The 2021 Oregon Ducks may not have finished well on the football field, but they certainly are an exorbitantly talented bunch. Several of the Ducks’ best elected to opt out of the season in favor of preparing for the NFL Draft this April which certainly had a lot to do with the lacking production on the field. After looking at ... Read the full article here...
  2. 30Duck....would you do the honors of adding the very special GIF that fits for Washington? You know...we have so many doubts and concerns about Cristobal...but what you see above feels pretty good!
  3. I don't which is better....the award or the perfect Husky GIF! My gosh this is fun....and 30Duck...you gotta save that GIF as it is pertinent so often!
  4. I have never seen that term used before...
  5. You make a very good case, thanks for all the information. Great stuff.
  6. OK...I am shamed by your placing time perspective to those points; would the Fab Five doubled up Cal? Doubt it, but your point demonstrates that I did not give them enough credit. Good catch and THANKS.
  7. You have great research and I respect your conclusions, but I will politely disagree. I am a big believer in "Greatness and Weakness Emerge Early" as we saw with Freeman, Barner, LMJ, Droughns, (first game vs. Saban and MSU) and the list continues. If we had a great, elite running back between those two you mention--we would know it by now. Dollars looks good, but he does not have breakaway speed of Barner, LMJ or Droughns for example. We do not have an elite RB IMHO, and it is a recruiting whiff that is unexplainable to me. I wrote about it before right here.
  8. I am very grateful to all the views and all the information presented in this thread. And Jon--that is helpful for so many of us to be aware of. THANKS.
  9. Sweet pic! He is killing it right now...
  10. Yep, there is another fellow going to Boise with Avalos, and many in the program thought he was a real loss. But change happens...
  11. Good catch my friend, as I went up and edited the title to reflect that it is not cancelled. Thanks!
  12. OREGON ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | MONDAY, JANUARY 11, 2021 EUGENE, Ore. – Due to recent COVID-19 developments within the Arizona State program, the Oregon women's basketball team's game in Tempe this Sunday, Jan. 17, has been postponed. The Pac-12 Conference will work with both programs to attempt to find a mutually agreeable date to reschedule the contest. No. 10 Oregon will face No. 11 Arizona on Thursday, Jan. 14, at 4 p.m. PT in Tucson. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
  13. Awesome and surprising! Thanks for passing that along...
  14. I want Ohio State to win to stop this ongoing Alabama/Clemson/SEC cabal continuing, but I feel the offense of the Tide is a bit too much for any team at this time. Thoughts?
  15. I cannot help but wonder what the upside ultimately is!
  16. Boy I don't know if we can survive any more injuries as losing Figueroa would be quite a set-back. We need all hands on deck for the Arizona schools!
  17. So cool-thanks for bringing it to our attention. Justin learned how to take a hit and deliver and it paid off big-time for him this year. So proud!
  18. The fumble of Cam Newton deep in Auburn territory that was ruled as an incomplete pass was a game-changer as well.
  19. He seems like another Dennis Dixon who can throw and run with one exception; Dixon had the skinniest legs I've ever seen on a quarterback. I have forearms bigger!
  20. I see the men as a Sweet Sixteen team if everything goes well, and we achieve our potential. So I am not worried at the drop at all. The Women? The potential to be an Elite-Eight team is there if they continue to develop, and THAT is the fun to watch!
  21. Outstanding post, and I am grateful for your reported experience with the vaccine. Hence the thorny issue gets tougher...another great post for me to ponder. And this is why I wanted to bring this up--to see other ramifications I had not considered. Thanks to all for your responses--very illuminating. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BTW everyone....you can quote just one sentence or part of a sentence. Just highlight what you want to respond to and a small box comes up "Quote" and you click it. Bingo--it appears in your post. And obviously...you can do this several times. Handy and easy! 22. I think that if they played together as a group for a while--they could beat over half the teams in America right now! I have wondered about platooning, and having two groups play together consistently and get that chemistry needed for set plays and defensive switches, etc.? If there was ever a team that could platoon--this is it?
  23. Yes, this is going to be hard for people to write without getting political, but if any community can do it--this one can. So many questions that we all will be dealing with later in all aspects of life; is it fair or right to require a vaccination? If millions choose not to, is it fair to make the rest have to wear masks, practice social distancing and have the economic hardship restrictions in place? Can someone sue for transmission of COVID when he/she choose not to get a vaccination? (Big impact on Oregon for games, IMHO) My concern is that whatever the most stringent practice is available....UO will choose it, and tons of people will be hosed in the process. What Oregon did with photographers at the games this year was flat-out ridiculous... As a season ticket holder--I have concerns about where this is going! Ah no, this is not me...
