That was a painful observation, yet funny...

I told everyone in the introductory video that when you are signed in....a dot or star will appear to the left of a topic title on the front page when you return, and it was based upon whether you started the topic or not. WRONG. The dot indicates that you have not commented in the thread, and the star indicates that you HAVE commented in the thread. The Cool Part? When you click on the dot or star...it will take you right to where you left off reading in the thread. So when you left and there were ten posts you had read, and upon your return you now see there are eight new ones? Click on the dot or star on the left and it will take you to No. 11, where you left off. How cool! Saves a ton of time scrolling and trying to recall...now did I read that post by Mr. FishDuck? (Looks kinda boring, so...) Changes taking place! Yep, you will have noticed that the background color of the posts has gone from white-to-green-to-yellow and back to white! Part of that is yours-truly experimenting, and part of that is the Web Developer making some tweaks to our Moderating Software, to make it operate better. We will have more of that going as we work to make this very user-friendly....and do click on "Directions" in upper left! But to see the "Scroll-Saving" dot or star....you have to be a member of the forum and signed in. Otherwise you will not see them!

I was thinking about watching Arizona State tonight, and when I realized it was against the 'Furd I said to myself, "nah." I do not want to see anything associated with them yet this season... I never viewed them with "hate" like I have the Huskies, or in the distant past, USC. But I really don't like the smarty-pants in Palo Alto anymore, and maybe that is what the players and coaches need to be feeling next year? How do YOU feel about Stanford after that game? Or were your feelings based on all the other upsets of the past? (The one in 2001 just drove me crazy...I've never seen a game where a team had a punt blocked twice)

BTW...Duck Territory is killing it for basketball recruiting reports in both Mens and Womens and this is condensed from them. (A verbal is public knowledge) 5-Star 6' 3" Forward Grace VanSlooten of Ohio verballed to Coach Graves, the 13th best player in the US, went with a gut feeling in the end over Gonzaga and Arizona as the final two other suitors. She has played extensively on the AAU tour with fellow 5-Star from Ohio, Chance Gray, and thus good chemistry already beginning. She was also quite attracted to the new NIKE NIL program at Oregon and wants to win a 'Natty in Eugene. Four players visited after the recruiting restrictions were removed June, and all four verballed to Graves? Whew!

Chris Hansen of the Eugene R-G is reporting that Bennett Williams is lost for the season as Verdell is. Bradyn Swinson will be back for Cal, and Joe Moorhead is now recovering in Eugene and it is unknown if he will be available for Cal. And Cristobal has declared his confidence in Anthony Brown for Cal. 😱 Talk about a mixed bag....

Amen. Perhaps a FishDuck writer will create an article of tribute to this warrior.
