A New Transfer-OUT: Linebacker MJ Cunningham
Completely understandable with the inside linebackers of quality in the room and joining the Ducks shortly. I wish him well!

No Determination about ANYTHING from this Year?
To you, to me, to this community. I call it, "Mysteries of the Mind!"

Think Like the Opposing Defense!
Well, we started the year with great third down conversions and then hit a skid.. You make great points and wish to invite you to post more often!

No Determination about ANYTHING from this Year?
Darrian Felix was a superb runner who scored against Auburn last year, but could not crack the line-up due to blocking, according to my source. David, I agree that is more than just running for a running back...

Cristobal's Recruiting Legacy Recently Discovered....
Darn right! If we had a running back room as highly rated as the offensive linemen... (how crazy is THAT to read!?)

No Determination about ANYTHING from this Year?
Certainly that is a great point, but Oregon was a mess in many areas. (and we do encourage punctuation here to make it easier reading for the community-thanks)

Interesting on MANY LEVELS: Oregon Pursuing A Transfer Safety?
I love puns, especially on this forum! A TOUGH DUCK!

No Determination about ANYTHING from this Year?
You know...I've been thinking about that a lot. Yes, your point is valid, but after six games and all those practices...I really think Oregon should have played better in the Bowl game. Especially with what happened in the Coliseum! You are new, and please keep posting. Welcome!

FishDuck Article: "Can Oregon Fix Its Coaching Problem in 2021?"
Well that is the beauty of this forum, and that we can all disagree without getting personal. I will politely disagree with you, in that I do not believe that the senior defensive linemen of Austin Faoliu and Jordon Scott along with linebacker Mase Funa (who had his hand down most of the time on the LOS) had a good year and were coached to their fullest abilities. Had they a great year? It would have helped the newbie linebackers and taken pressure off the parts of the secondary that were inexperienced. Seniors and one of the highest rated LBs ever at Oregon should have performed better, IMHO.

Figuring Out Who Leaves, and Who RETURNS for the Ducks
I am delighted to see some of those names stay, but I sure want Anthony Brown back as we may need him! Article is right here and is free....

How Pac-12 Football Became an Absolute Joke (Whew!)
"Nationally, The Conference of Champions was already thought of an inferior football league. After 2020, forget the inferior moniker, we’re now pitiful." This writer let's it all go with his thoughts...read the rest right here. As a publisher...the only thing I do not like about the article is the writing style of one-sentence paragraphs through-out, as an opinion article should be well-constructed paragraphs as you see from Joshua's article today at FishDuck. Not a stream of consciousness, like this writer, but he makes good points!

Interesting on MANY LEVELS: Oregon Pursuing A Transfer Safety?
That is not a lot of confidence at the position when you are looking for a Band-Aid, IMHO....

Justin Herbert: The BEST Under Pressure?
Boy this one surprised me and yet makes me so proud of him! Following the mold of Dan Fouts, only Justin can move!

Cristobal's Recruiting Legacy Recently Discovered....
We all know here in Oregon how well Mario Cristobal has done in recruiting since he came to Eugene, but his impact has been still felt at Alabama and will be on display this Monday...

The Biggest WHAT-IFs of 2020 in College Football?
Amen Duck-Brother, as that entire staff was under-appreciated by Chip and I would put Steve Greatwood at the top of that category along with Coach Campbell.

FishDuck Article: "A Letter to Mario Cristobal: Restore Oregon's Offensive Legacy"
Welcome Chalupacabra, as we love all opinions here, and especially ones that disagree and make great points. While we all may not agree, we can sure learn from each other and I would invite you to do so often.

FishDuck Article: "Can Oregon Fix Its Coaching Problem in 2021?"
I completely agree and I wrote about it recently here, and cannot understand the weakness in this crucial recruiting area. I wish to welcome you and all the new people who are joining us in droves by the day since this forum recently become "live." And to have nine comments before 8:00 AM Pacific is a good trend-line for this article and the upside growth of this free forum.

FishDuck Article: "Can Oregon Fix Its Coaching Problem in 2021?"
Something simply doesn’t add up. There’s a pretty simple formula to winning in college football, and it starts with getting better players than everybody else. There are other factors needed to build a consistently good program, but bringing in top-tier talent is believed to be the most important. Oregon has done that better than just about any other Pac-12 program ... Read the full article here...

FishDuck Article: "A Letter to Mario Cristobal: Restore Oregon's Offensive Legacy"
I don't know if you were around here since the season began, but we have been talking about the defense as it is the biggest drop-off in the units from last year to this one. So what we have been discussing about is how the Oregon offense needs to out-score the opponent, since the defense is weak this year. So yes--most of us identified the defense, and the problems although I believe there was more issues in the front seven than the back four contrary to what many think. Both sides of the ball are a mess right now, so I don't think you will get any disagreement about the defense. Glad to have you on-board, and would love your thoughts often. Thanks.
