Oregon vs Maryland Post Game Discussion Thread
Charles Fischer replied to kirklandduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I think the effects of seven straight weeks without a bye week rest...just materialized. Maryland played better than we thought, but we left opportunities go to waste as well. I hope Jordan James is OK... (And I have no idea why they bring in Limar. He has no breakaway speed, no extraordinary power, and no wiggle.) -
A SLIGHT at Oregon: Am I Too Sensitive?
Charles Fischer replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Okay, I will yield to the wise counsel of so many in this great forum… When I’m wrong… I am wrong! -
Let's discuss all the other CFB games of the day in this thread, and we do NOT discuss the Oregon game here, as we will have a separate GameDay thread for our game. (I will delete posts about the Oregon game, as we need to keep the discussions separate) Do provide score updates when you can, as well as your thoughts of what you saw in all the other games. We have a rich line-up of other games today such as Michigan at Indiana, Georgia at Ole Miss, Alabama at LSU and more to discuss!

A SLIGHT at Oregon: Am I Too Sensitive?

Indiana has a very weak schedule, so I don't think it was that. -

Well, alphabetical is new to me. You would think if the teams are tied, that you go by other factors...like their national ranking? -
Miami Gets The Mario Cristobal Experience
Charles Fischer replied to CjAllen180's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Pushed to the edge by a 5-4 Cal team, and beaten by a 5-4 team. It makes me so sad! -
I noticed in last week's telecast vs Michigan that twice they posted the B1G rankings, and although Oregon and Indiana were tied in B1G record and total record...they put Indiana ahead of the No. 1 team in the nation? I figured there must be a reason beyond my sensibilities... But today in the telecast of Michigan vs Indiana....they started the telecast again with showing both with undefeated records and putting Indiana ahead of Oregon in the B1G standings? Why would they do that? You can't say that "because it is an Indiana-centric" telecast today, because they did it last week when it was an Oregon telecast. They just cannot yet accept the new power at the table?

Finebaum: "Vanderbilt Could Beat a Lot of B1G Teams"
Charles Fischer replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
So true. The B1G was top-heavy before, along with a bunch of mediocre teams, and now it is even worse with Oregon added to the top...and three Fresno States. -
Finebaum: "Vanderbilt Could Beat a Lot of B1G Teams"
Charles Fischer replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Oh dear. Somebody is feeling threatened by a stronger B1G, who dominates the top eight of the Playoff field on the first week. Every once in a while... ...he's gotta do this for the SEC. -

Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction versus Maryland? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Let's get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count. And please check the other posts in this thread to prevent putting up the a score that has already been predicted. We had one week where four entries were the same score! Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. My prediction is: Oregon 45-13 3 4 321 Let's Keep Winning, Ducks!
