  1. That top photo of the article is from a new photographer who will shoot occasionally for us when others are unavailable. Naji Saker is a superb photographer who uses great judgement in the composition of his photos, and that top featured photo is a great example. Players celebrating in the Big-House....gotta love it!
  2. Because of the advertising on both sites, and backlinks in FishDuck articles...there was enough revenue to pay for TWO photographers at the Big-House, thus we have some epic pictures. This was fun....when fans agree!
  3. I thought more than a few would find the one above as funny as I did!
  4. This is parody, made with AI, is not really Dan Lanning, but it is funny-as-hell, but it has MANY forbidden four-letter words, so don't watch if you cannot stomach...
  5. We really turned around the sacks against us since the first game and a half!
  6. Yes, that is from the Mighty Oregon, our fight song, and below are some cool stats...
  7. OMIGOSH! These SEC fans are crazy!
  8. If Oregon wins the conference, there ARE going to be a lot of B1G-Butthurts out there!
  9. Wow. Whatever IPA he's drinking to arrive at this USC cope....I want it!
  10. I never thought I'd see this! The Official Box Score: Score Turnover Total Sacks Passing Yards Oregon 38-17 0 0 294 We had three who were within three points total of the score: Steven A. 38-14 3 4 288* EagleScoutJim 41-17 3 3* 320 JDuck 38-20 3 4 311 So, when we look at the three tiebreakers, Steven A. wins on the passing yardage, EagleScoutJim wins on being closest to the Sacks, but both are tied with the turnovers! Now I could award it to Steven A., since he is a founding OBD member, and a very gracious volunteer. But I could also award it to EagleScoutJim because he is brand new as a member, and jumped right in posting and joining this contest. BOTH are deserving, thus I am declaring BOTH as winners, and no....I am not adding more tiebreakers! Besides, I really know what I'm doing! My Duck-Buddies...this is a ton of fun. Thanks for playing!
  11. Oregon was No. 1 in the Coaches Poll also, but not ALL the first-place votes! NCAA College Football Coaches Poll | USA Today Sports SPORTSDATA.USATODAY.COM The US LBM Football Coaches Poll, published by USA TODAY Sports, is conducted weekly throughout the NCAA college football season. 12. A season full of "Firsts" for Our Beloved Ducks! Oregon unanimous No. 1 in AP Poll for first time in school-history 247SPORTS.COM The Oregon Ducks remain at No. 1 in the most recent AP Poll after beating Michigan 38-17 on Saturday. Maybe that extra touchdown at the end for style points helped?
  13. Great write-up Jordan,and cool pictures!
  14. The first show showing CFB Playoff Rankings or seeding takes place this Tuesday at 7:00 PM Eastern, 4:00 PM Pacific on ESPN. It will take place every Tuesday at that time for another month... Puny Ponderings of a FishDuck... An odd game that materialized different than what we've seen before. While we are all nitpicking, (as I am) the bottom line is that Oregon is still pretty good. It would appear from reports that Marcus Harper is going to be OK, which is actually more crucial than Tez at the moment. Holden replaced Tez just fine, but we do not have a single backup at any position on the offensive line if there is an injury to a starter. Sorry, but that is my opinion... My observations of the replacement in another thread was not made from just yesterday; many times we had blocking blow-up on 4th down plays, and late in the game when subs were in....and it was Kwika Rogers responsible, but I did not write about it in articles or here in the forum. I just took note. Many may disagree with me, and that is fine. You know me; I call it good or not--trying to be straight. Is this what a FishDuck Looks Like? Tez Replacement on Third Down? While I like our wide receivers for this, I like our tight ends even more. Ferguson is back, and he'll always get open, but grooming Sadiq in this role is also a good idea since he is a matchup nightmare. He has the speed to get open, and he can out-muscle safeties for the ball at the high-point. Use him! Third Down Offense? I have wrote many times about how the offense and defense is a slow-rollout over the season, with most of the tasty stuff kept for the Playoff. I have written and wondered why, with the pass rush coming at us at times, that we have not run a Draw Play yet after eight games? And there we did in the first half against Michigan. We had a tailback draw to James for ten yards, and late in the first half a wonderful QB Draw for a touchdown. We gotta believe in their process; they saved the draw play for a team that they thought had the best interior defenders and pass rush. Bottom line is that we won the game without opening the playbook much, beat the spread, and got enough style points for the Playoff rankings coming up.
  15. This team chemistry is another example of how special Coach Lanning is. Nobody sulking in the background as we saw with the coach before Lanning...
  16. We have NO DEPTH on the offensive line. If any of the starters get hurt....we are in trouble. What I'm hoping for is that they have purposely holding back Bedford to redshirt for next year. So he's played in one game, sat out the last couple, and can play in the final three games of the season AND the Conference Championship and the Playoffs. The backup we had in there got easily over-powered, and beaten in pass protection. Just not any experience yet...
