  1. Hell of a Team! Miami players get in sideline fight during Pop-Tarts Bowl LARRYBROWNSPORTS.COM Miami Hurricanes players threw punches at each other on the sideline during the first quarter of Saturday's Pop-Tarts Bowl at Camping World Stadium in A new low for Mary-Oh, Ho, Ho. Does Cam get a Pops-Tart Participation Trophy?😁
  2. There's Cow Manure and then there is Male Bovine Excrement! How Low Can You Go? I'm going pro. Oops, Miami. Now? I'm going pro? He's probably driving a Maserati but there is No Way I'd let the guy get back on the airplane or the bus. Team, Team, Team, Right?
  3. A Glimmer of Hope? On 11/22/25 the Answer in Autzen Will Be: NOPE! How USC can use Las Vegas Bowl comeback over Texas A&M as springboard for must-win 2025 season - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM USC closed its season with a dramatic win over Texas A&M in the Las Vegas Bowl, starring Ja'Kobi Lane Et tu Brute? Brutus, Ryan, Chip, and Willie Boy, You All Have It Coming! Sincerely, Octavian and Danno. 😎
  4. Nuck, Nuck, Nuck! 😆 Alabama’s already-flimsy CFP argument got blown to smithereens by Navy FANSIDED.COM The Tide have spent weeks telling everyone they deserved a playoff spot, but their resume has taken some big lumps of late. HUMBLE HOWARD!
  5. Could Navy's season have finished any better? WOW! Oklahoma better hope that the OC and QB coming to Norman from Wazzu (hats off to the Cougs for putting up a fight against Syracuse in the Holiday Bowl) make a difference. But for a change in venues, OK has the same brutal SEC schedule in 2025 that it played in 2024 while Texas again has it easy. Instead of beefing about the PO, perhaps the SEC should look at the SOS variances with its in-conference scheduling. This could be fixed before next season.
  6. Terrific and fun comments. If I remember (always suspect) correctly, the B1G and the SEC are now 3-3 on the season. 2 wins by the Trojans, a win by Ohio State, and losses by Michigan, Wisconsin, and UCLA. The B1G teams are the underdog in the remaining bowl games. I am interested in watching No. 20. 9-3 Illinois versus No. 15. 9-3 South Carolina. Two of Illinois's Ls came on the road at No. 1 OREGON and No. 4 Penn State and the home loss to Minnesota was a more competitive game than the beat down of the Gamecocks by Ole Miss in Columbia. What is the future of bowl games? Difficult to tell. With the current bowl tie-ins the number of teams each of the Power 2 have in the PO will affect the match-ups down the line. I believe the SEC is deeper than the B1G, but it will be closer if USC (🤮) and UWho (🦨) get their Sierra (💩) together. Ole Miss and SC mutually canceled the H+H series that was scheduled to begin in 2025. Texas opens next season at Ohio State. Michigan plays at Oklahoma. Wisconsin plays at Bama. I don't see the scheduling agreement between the Power 2 happening before the 2030s at the earliest. For this to happen I expect the Power 2 would have to have at least three teams each guaranteed a spot in the PO. Greg Sankey clarifies future scheduling plans between SEC, Big Ten programs - Saturday Down South WWW.SATURDAYDOWNSOUTH.COM Greg Sankey responded to the idea that SEC and Big Ten teams are engaged in future scheduling opportunities. On the season, with SC finishing 7-6, Coach Riley comes in at @$1.4 Million a win. Which is nice. 😁 BURY BRUTUS!
  7. Has anyone considered that the SEC including Tennessee was not all that good in 2024? The Vols beat Bama! So did Vandy and Oklahoma. Big Whoop! And against a Bama team that Oklahoma destroyed, the Vols put up 24 points on its home field. The Vols O line was a sieve versus tOSU. The Ducks O line was solid versus tOSU helped out by a Heisman finalist QB whose play is in a different stratosphere than that of Tennessee Freshman QB Nico I. The vaunted Vols run game? The top drawer WRs? One of the best Ds in CFB? Like the game in Columbus, the entire Tennessee team no-showed against Georgia in Athens. Versus the best D the Vols O played against, it did nothing. This Tennessee team lost to Arkansas and looked bad in the process. The Vols were way overrated because of the conference it plays in. 9-3 Alabama finished No. 11. 9-3 Illinois finished No. 20. Two of the Illini's three losses came on the road against the No. 1 ranked and No. 4 ranked teams in the nation, OBD and Penn State. The Illini loss to 7-5 Minnesota was not a good loss but it was better than the Bama losses to Vandy and Oklahoma. The 3-loss SEC teams that 'all should have been in the playoff' were along with Tennessee and Texas, overrated; again, because there is no way the SEC can have a down year, right? Committee darling Texas has one win against a PO team, 3-loss No. 16 Clemson on its home field. With Carson Beck down, the two best teams remaining in the field will play in the Rose Bowl. Ohio State after being told they STINK by their fans and the SEC media honks played its best game of the season, at home and in favorable weather conditions. tOSU hit its season zenith. Not easy to duplicate the next time out. Oregon will perhaps get the respect it deserves after it wins a Natty but it will probably take a Clemson-like 4-team format run before the respect comes coast-to-coast. Cage Chipper! Ruin Ryan's Day! Bury Brutus. BTW - Could Tennessee beat Boise or Penn State? We know the Vols didn't come close to Ohio State. 😎
  8. Hail! Hail! The Gang's All Here As We Diss Our New Conference Foe! Oregon might still be the top seed, but Ohio State is the team to beat for the title SATURDAYTRADITION.COM The Buckeyes' opening-round beatdown of Tennessee has helped leapfrog them ahead of Oregon as the national championship favorite. 13. Are one or both of these TEs on Dan's Radar? 2 Tennessee tight ends add their names to list of Vols in the transfer portal ALLFORTENNESSEE.COM In recent days, there has been plenty of movement for the Tennessee football roster now that the season has come to an end. Following the loss to Ohio State in These two were off Radar on Saturday in Columbus. Now, they are saying, 'Goodbye Vols,' having said, 'Goodbye Columbus.' tOSU signed a goog looking TE transfer from Purdue. Cage Chip!
  14. 23. OUTSTANDING, Mr. Marsh, OUTSTANDING! Do you want a field with no controversy? 32 teams combine to form NFL Lite (NFLL.) In the NFLL we have a salary cap, negotiated restrictions on transfers, the ability to trade players, a draft of high school players, and an even split of media revenue, and we do everything possible to equalize a team's Strength-of-Schedule. The top 2 teams have a first-round bye. Unlike the NFL, the NFLL does not reward division winners; the next best 12 teams make the Playoff field. The NFLL will have a Flex-Schedule so the later weeks of the season will feature Playoff play-in games. The NFFL will have a professional group of on-field and in-studio referees. Reviews will be subject to the same rules used in the NFL. Your Record is What You Are! All games will be played in stadiums that can be enclosed in the case of inclement weather. Your Brand is meaningless. Where your team is located and the number of humans living in the city where your team is located is meaningless. The NFLL does everything possible to take the human element, except for on-field results, out of the equation. OK, folks would still find something to beef about. How do you equalize injuries? I think CFB is headed in the direction of the NFFL but I'm in no hurry to get there. Before we get there make logical changes to the PO format. Like, rankings = seeding. DUH! And have a 3rd party, the NCAA perhaps, manage the PO instead of a media company with a vested interest in which teams make the field. Thanks again, David, for a spot-on take! BURY THE BUCKEYES!
  24. I'm so ticked off about tOSU being the 8-seed that I'm too Playoff PO'd to be anxious! I know Boise drives OBD bat spit, but out of tOSU, ASU, Notre Dame, and Boise, which team would you least want to play in the quarter-finals? BASH THE BUCKEYES! [Over/Under: 16? How often during the Rose Bowl does Herbie whine over too few eSECpn teams in the tourney? At least once for each team?]
