  1. Play like he did on Saturday and Gabe will be visiting NYC. Many SEC QBs lost the Heisman glow once conference play started. Gabe and his receivers exposed 'the best pass D in the nation." Texas destroyed Oklahoma but Ewers did not have a good game. Beck and Ewers will have a chance to shine on Saturday. Come On You Athens Dawgs! I don't believe a G5 guy has the exposure and the quality of competition to win the award. Desmond Howard made this point on Saturday. Boise is idle this Saturday. Boise's next game, an important road game at UNLV, will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network channel, not CBS. Blow Up The Boilers!
  2. If this guy lent his watch to Ryan Day, it didn't help. 😁 Bucks fans are livid about the end-game clock management on the sideline and the field. How many seasons has Will Howard played ball? But that kind of noise when you are not concerned about it and prepared for it is righteously tough on visitors. Kelly didn't prepare Day for this?
  3. Like the NFL? NFL fans on the losing end regularly complain about the referees. Every Big Ten football play is looked at in the Big Ten Replay Center in Rosemont (Chicago), Illinois. 54 display monitors and 18 monitoring stations. But this does not prevent refs from calling an interception a catch, etc. Or making an offside call on Minnesota's successful onside kick in Ann Arbor. After the Gophers rightfully beefed, this is now a reviewable call. It also does not prevent Michigan from running the ball 42 times vs SC with no holding calls. I agree with Coach Dan, other than the hash marks, CFB should adopt NFL rules including the replay rule and loss of a time-out if a challenge is not upheld. As long as humans are involved no system will be perfect. CFB was played for over 100 years without a review of the calls. AI is making calls in MLB and I expect one day soon tech will take over other human officiating duties. CFB games are long enough. IMO, there should be a 90-second period to find 'incontrovertible evidence' of a wrong call or the play stands. 7 minutes after the last play to take a win away from Va Tech and give the game to Miami is ridiculous.
  4. Lots of Great Takes Up On OBD's B1G Win. I'm adding this because the author, Ross Dellenger is the Big Ten Network's go-to journalist. Instant classic in Autzen: Oregon takes down Ohio State in first Big Ten test — 'We were going to give them a show' SPORTS.YAHOO.COM In their first marquee Big Ten matchup, the Ducks are showed they belong among the elite in the conference and in all of college football.
  5. I agree with Charles. I think Fisch is a great fit at UW and he hired two bright young minds in Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick's sons. This is a brand new UW team. Shaky on the road but a good win over Michigan in Seattle. The QB he recruited from the portal, Will Rogers is legit as is true frosh QB Demond Williams, Jr. I'm hoping the job at Fisch's alma mammy Florida opens so he will head for the SEC where he coached under Steve Spurrier. Foster may well be over his head but if Fisch sticks around UW will not be an easy out. SC had the lead in the 4th Q at Michigan and Minnesota and the Coli against Penn State. Riley is a great QB coach and an OC but without the roster advantage he had at Oklahoma, he will not succeed as a head coach in the B1G. A+M boosters, where It Just Means More, are wealthy and crazy enough to buy out Dumbo, er, Jimbo. I think Riley will be with Troy for at least one more year. Which is nice. 😁
  6. College Football Coach of the Year? Dilly is certainly in the running. ASU was roundly picked to finish last in the B12 and has one loss year to date. 5-1 with the latest win coming against the Utes with Rising at the helm.
  7. Bama ONE more lost game? Saturday - At No. 11 Tennessee 10/26 - Vs. No. 19 Mizzou 11/9 - At No. 8 LSU 11/23 - At Oklahoma - Dangerous in Norman 11/30 - Vs. Auburn - You Never Know? I'll concede 11/16 - Have Mercy on Mercer. Bama is No. 7 based on yesterday and not today.
  8. Wasn't Mater Dei once owned by the U of Southern California? 😁
  9. RETURN ON PORTAL INVESTMENT: OREGON - A OHIO STATE - A OLE MISS - Vs. Cupcakes - A / Vs. SEC Teams - F - Including at home vs Kentucky, a team that just lost to Vandy in Lexington.
  10. Looks like Saturday Tradition is taking a cue from NBC - 3 takeaways from Ohio State’s loss in nail-biter vs. Oregon SATURDAYTRADITION.COM Ohio State and Oregon delivered on the Game of the Year potential in a showdown of Big Ten juggernauts. First the Wolverines and now the Ducks. Yuck, yuck.
  11. Student Body Right has Left the Coli. SC would be awesome in a 7 on 7 league. 😁
  12. Keep The Puddles Love Comin'! 'Sleep when you die': Oregon stakes claim as Big Ten's best as Ohio State's big-game struggles linger - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM The Ducks are suddenly the new heavyweight of the Big Ten -- and we wouldn't say no to a rematch in Indianapolis
  13. And By Comparison, Traveler is Jockyed by the $10M Man. 😁 Lincoln Riley, USC football plunge deeper into misery vs Penn State TROJANSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Coulda, shoulda, woulda. It’s getting very old very quickly for USC football fans in the Lincoln Riley era. This is not what Riley was paid to do at USC. I believe Lincoln attended Mari(o)'s clinic on When to Call a Time Out.
  14. Doctor J, with good reason for the most part. Last Night? Never A Doubt! 😍👌
  15. WE WANT VANDY! 😁
  16. It's not that easy to behead a king. 😁 It took Harbaugh FIVE YEARS to defeat tOSU.
  17. I believe Penn State TE Travis Warren is dating Taylor Swift's hotter younger sister. That was Kelce Super Bowl stuff. 3 late SC leads, 3Ls. Penn State was resilient. The Buckeyes game at PSU should be interesting.
  18. Where have you gone Mr. Mari(o?) Ducks' nation (again) says a fond goodbye to YOU!
  19. LOVE IT! But Dan could use a new tailor. 😁
  20. SCOREBOARD! Todd, go to your room! (Or, to the Coli?)
  21. Jordan, thanks for a terrific take on a fantastic game.Thank You, Sir! Now, hit the afterburners Puddles, move into the Stratosphere on 12/7, and take a PO nap before hosting the Rose Bowl. Puddles will see your $20M Brutus, and rake in the chips again in Indy!
  22. Gabe accounted for 341 yards; 235 yards on plays of 25 yards or more. ZERO sacks vs. a group of tOSU D guys headed to the NFL. Move over Jeanty and Cam Ward. In the B1Ggest game in CFB to date Gabe delivered. And the 1st 2 games 7 sacks O Line; who were those guys? 0, Nudge, Nada, Sacks. See you Brutus on 12/7 in Indy? But, Danno can't win a B1G game, Right? Yuck, yuck. Hats off to Ducks fans in Autzen. Very little red in the stadium and HUGE noise. DON'T SLEEP ON PURDUE - The Boilers came from wayyyy back to take Illinois into OT. And after stumbling around, future opponent Wisconsin has blown up its last two opponents. Wisky in Mad City will be the 8-Ball on an 8 game gauntlet. It's so good to be B1G! GO Ducks! Blow Up The Boilers! BTW, it gets late early back here. 😁
  23. NEVER A DOUBT! Even though an OBD interception on the Buckeyes 1st drive turned into a tOSU TD. Tremendous football game. After Puddles shot Soylent Green on a Talking Head head before Kaitlin Olsen copped to losing her virginity on campus. 'THIS' usually happens not before CFB kickoffs. 👍👍👍😍😍😍😍 Any OBD Bros and Sisters who want to cop to Kaitlin's reveal? No matter, OBD scored and won the Day, the Chipper, and The Game. Purdue, who knew, took the Illini into OT. Blow Up The Boilers! Do not let Friday in Indy be Fry Day.
  24. OBD 31-28 1 2 315 Crush The Nuts!
  25. Telling It Like It Is. With college sports at tipping point, one thing is clear: The SEC and Big Ten are in control of the change that awaits SPORTS.YAHOO.COM The SEC and Big Ten's brass held meetings Thursday to discuss the future format of the CFP, football and basketball scheduling arrangements and a post-House settlement way to govern...
