Ducks look like they dodged another bullet with all the penalties piling up against the Buffs. Our defense couldn't stop them on their own.

If Georgia wins by 40 pts at home against Tenn, it will probably make a lot people on the playoff committee rethink Oregon's loss and their progression since. Maybe, they will be a lot more forgiving. Georgia obviously gets up for and brings their A game on GameDays.

Our defense has been catching some lucky breaks. They look far from dominant.

I'm telling you...no one wants to see Franklin get hurt, but he would absolutely kill it on kickoff and punt returns.

My money is on Whittington. The last three weeks, he has been showing up Bucky, typically getting fewer touches. The Cal game, they got the same amount of turns, running the ball, but Whittington rushed for twice as many yards as Bucky. He has been averaging more yards per carry, but Bucky is more productive, receiving the ball. Should Whittington get some consideration to start over Bucky at RB? Maybe, I'm getting ahead of myself, because Bucky has had to do more of the heavy lifting. He normally takes those 1st down snaps to open the game and soften up the defense, when the Ducks are trying establish an offensive rhythm.

Yeah but the backup QB is usually scoring against the second or third string units. Millner did it against Dorlus and the first string guys which is more impressive. If they subbed him in earlier, Cal might of stood a chance to hand the Ducks their first conference loss.

It was rather a rough day running the ball for Bucky. He was held to only 32 yards.

In hindsight, I wish the Ducks weren't so aggressive just before the half. Hope, Franklin's injury is minor. Is Thorton still playing? I saw him on the sideline in the UCLA game, high-fiving Franklin but hasn't played an active role in this offense.
