  1. So, you're saying we still got a chance: If Ohio State loses again to Michigan, the Ducks are in position to earn a rematch against Indiana over the Wolverines because of an expected higher common opponent winning percentage. That same edge would send the Ducks to Indianapolis should the Buckeyes lose to UCLA. Should Ohio State lose to Rutgers, the Ducks would finish ahead of Ohio State thanks to a better record among five common Big Ten opponents. College football CFP conference tiebreakers for SEC, ACC, AAC, Big 10 So, we run the table and any stumble by OSU, we're in CShip game. I'm for it. Win it and get a top 4 seed and a bye. One less round of playoffs . . . you can't lose a bye game and rely upon learning from last year's lessons.
  2. Great pickup for 2026 Ducks Sign Tajh Ariza - University of Oregon Athletics Son of Trevor Ariza, great genes.
  3. ??? 1 TO and 2 sacks??? Asking for a friend
  4. Listening to a podcast it was brought up that Indiana gets great kudos for their comeback win vs Penn St. An unranked Penn St. that hasn't won a game since being white/wiped out on a Saturday night. Versus a now no-credit win against the number 3 undefeated team at the time. I guess Rodney Dangerfield is sporting Ducks colors these days.
  5. Seeding matters, but does it? If you want to claim a Natty, then you need to beat everyone you play in the playoffs and not wine (until the end and then down a magnum or two if you win) about your draw. Otherwise, you weren't Natty worthy (thanks Elaine and your Seinfeld reference).
  6. That is if Indy doesn't beat the Buckeyes and they swap places.
  7. Series history. Gophers 3 - 1. Some great names from the past in the series . . . Harrinton, Clemons, Parker Oregon Ducks and Golden Gophers series history
  8. Ouch, she was averaging 12.5 points. Oregon standout guard Elisa Mevius suffers torn knee ligaments, will remainder of season
  9. Injury report still up in the air. Mums the word on injury front, Dan Lanning open to being creative at wideout if needed "I'm not going to get into injuries," Lanning said. "If they're ready, they'll play."
  10. Not only was the officiating horrid in the Iowa game. Really, one penalty for one yard vs Iowa and zero holds!! But the league has omitted Mich St was on the wrong end of two bad calls. I saw the second one where the receiver's jersey was clearly yanked. And on the next series Mich St was flagged for a much lesser tug. Setting up the winning TD in TO. "Against Michigan two weeks ago in East Lansing, Malcolm Bell timed a snap perfectly, sacked Bryce Underwood, and jarred the ball loose and it was picked up by Jordan Hall in a tight game. The turnover would have given Michigan State the ball near midfield with a chance to go down and make it a one-score game. Instead, a late flag signaled that Bell was offsides despite the replay clearly showing that he timed the snap perfectly and didn’t do anything illegal. Michigan was given the ball back and it ended up scoring shortly after to put the game out of reach. As if that wasn’t bad enough, that bad call was followed up by the refs overturning an interference call in overtime at Minnesota on a third-and-short play. It was a clear interference on replay, and the ball was even spotted to reflect the penalty with the teams about to line up for the next snap, but about 90 seconds later, the officials picked up the flag and moved the ball back for fourth down."
  11. Defense on this play was out of whack. We had extra defenders on the outside outnumbering the receivers 3 - 2 on one side and 4 - 3 on the other side. In the pictures we have the pre snap and post snap. This gave them 5 on 4 in the box. What were we thinking? Well ok, I was thinking QB draw probably along with most of the forum.
  12. Sandbagging would be very foolhardy. You can't turn on and off the emotions of a game in the game. Although Sam Houston State did put on a rope-a-dope and a thanks for the check clinic in Corvallis.
  13. Where Oregon's defense and special teams rank Where Ducks' defense, special teams rank in key stats after Week 11 Offensive rankings. Where Ducks' offense ranks nationally in key stats after Week 11
  14. Would that be the Texas state program, aka Sam Houston State, that just beat the front runner of the Pac what-the-heck conference?
  15. This is a seriously BIG club (pun intended). Give a quiz to all the Ad's for an explanation. Or, maybe hire Larry Scott to negotiate a deal that exceeds all expectations until the next round of media deals in a couple of years.
  16. "Big job" is subjective. He is still a decent P4 coach. It would be interesting if ewe dub and OBD both run the table up till that game. A Ducks win and we are in. A close Ducks loss and both might make it depending on SEC chaos and only 1 bid to ACC and Big 12.
  17. This is great news. Kwame Evans Jr. back for Ducks MBB after knee injury in season-opener
  18. I'm not going to take Iowa to be the only person to do so and an easy win, as I do not want Charle's magnanimous prize to bump my tax bracket!!! So, Ducks 27 - 8 2 TO's (no Mari, not time outs) 1 sack 205 pyds
  19. Alex, your article brought up another scenario for us to ponder . . . A two loss Ducks team could miss the playoffs. Going forward since we want to see OBD in the playoffs every year it will be a daunting task to go 11 - 1 year after year. That is a tough ask, so we do need to be prepared for hopefully no more than a one-year absence every so often.
