  1. I know this is two weeks early in regard to pre-game articles as Pennsylvania Duck will have a thread available soon, but here goes Mike Farrell has a take on all aspects. Spoiler alert . . . MSN WWW.MSN.COM
  2. 2023 Heisman Trophy candidate tracker: Rankings, stats, more WWW.ESPN.COM A late September look at the contenders for college football's most coveted award.
  3. Good article on OL local recruit Trent Ferguson of Salem. Coach Klemm was like, ‘Hey Trent, come over here,’” he said. “‘It’s so nice to meet you. I watched you play a game, and you know, you don’t see a lot of guys with your size and your athleticism. I want to pull the trigger and offer you a full-ride scholarship.’” MSN WWW.MSN.COM
  4. Rinse and repeat from last week. Only Bo only gets 1 series in the second half.
  5. I was thinking of going to the game this Saturday, so I checked to see what tix were going for the AZ game, $4 on resale market meaning the junk fees were more than the tix. So, I think I'll wait till Friday when I guess they will pay us to go. I got dibs on section 22 to myself!
  6. This must be from her senior year. Thanking Duck Nation for all its support and allowing her to grow as a person. MSN WWW.MSN.COM

      • Great post!
  7. All the other FBS coaches: “You know what might work, Dan? You could try having MUCH better players than they have on both lines of scrimmage. Kind of experimental, but it’s got a shot!” Can confirm. Jay Norvell and Matt Rhule called Tosh and secretly told him to sack Shadeur a bunch. And from Colorado Barstool they get it: This is so dumb and the media creating narratives like this is why nobody likes us. We were completely outclassed on both lines. They beat our butt. Let’s move on MSN WWW.MSN.COM I think everyone of us could have provided "insight" on how to beat CU. Most notably, show up and don't let the cheerleaders play until the 4th quarter.
  8. I think most teams have lack of depth, and I like what I have seen from Ty. Utah scored 7 pts with a back-up. Penix played the whole game in a blowout, that didn't make sense. ucla's backup is starting. Not sure about sc.
  9. I think they would have if advertisers were available. It also says a lot when Jockey is the clothing sponsor for the crew.
  10. I see the difference: When Deon leaves, he drives the hype train out of the building. When Chip left, he left the offense behind, which is what the draw was. Kids still have DAT on their mind. Not seeing kids have Prime on the mind if Prime is gone. Plus, talk about a tough act to follow. Plus, 1, 2 and 3 ain't gonna happen.
  11. I only bet one, Oregon -4.5 at TT, what a laugher. The only reason I didn't have a coronary was I wasn't able to watch it. This week I am all over Ducks to cover the 1st half point spread. I see them coming out to show the FB world we should be getting the publicity. Worried about a back door cover against our 2's and 3's late.
  12. Didn't we all (except Charles)
  13. He will join three other former NFLers, Dennis Thurman (USC), Kevin Mathis (Texas native) and Trevor Reilly (Utah Ute) on staff. MSN WWW.MSN.COM Filed for 1. COACH PRIME 2. PRIME EFFECT 3. DADDY BUCK 4. IT'S PERSONAL MSN WWW.MSN.COM
  14. MSN WWW.MSN.COM Oregon football recent history spells bad news for Deion Sanders, Colorado football Deion Sanders’ undefeated start as the Colorado football coach is likely to come to an end Saturday when the Buffaloes visit Oregon. The betting odds suggest that Oregon should win handily, given that they are favored by three touchdowns. The recent history of the Colorado-Oregon football rivalry might indicate that Deion Sanders’ squad will finally suffer a loss in the 2023 season. Oregon beat Colorado 52-29 in 2021. All nine of the Ducks’ wins over the Buffaloes in the last 20 years have come by 17 points or more. While Nix is back as Oregon’s quarterback, Colorado is a completely different team than it was a year ago. Sanders completely overhauled a roster that finished the 2022 season with a 1-11 record. Last year’s matchup, along with the last 10 Colorado-Oregon meetings, should have no bearing on Saturday’s outcome.
  15. Not to Dan. Wasn't this the player he was texting after the Natty when he had THE job?
  16. I'll whittle it down to one key, just show up!
  17. I expect a huge blowout. The Ducks know CU brings all the hype and a lot of eye balls. This is our Prime time (sorry coach) to shine for a national audience.
  18. Dan Lanning talks up importance of Oregon’s recruiting weekend vs. Colorado SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM Dan Lanning is hoping for a big weekend on the recruiting trail.
  19. Yes, but not as much starting together. I think our OL has been together longer. I really like the way our schedule is set up this year . . . five games to get the bugs out playing together in somewhat new roles, a bye week, then the game of the year so far in the Pac. GO DUCKS!
  20. I'm not worried about the poll position right now. So I am an osu lean (can root for either). That will give ND a boost and after we take down sc, and sc takes down ND, that helps our SOS. Of course, next year I guess I have to be a BIG rooter just as I'm a Pac rooter now.
  21. I expect the Ducks to make this a statement game and begin the end of the Prime Lovefest. The Ducks will suffocate CU and the game will be over by half. Only this game will see Bo until the 4th quarter to make sure there isn't a back-door cover against the 2's and 3's.
