Let's save that 51 point spread for next year when their Legacy QB is at the helm and he can join his father in Autzen infamy.

Win out with style points and we're in. MUCH easier said than done. And Ls for OSU, Big 10's & 12's champs would help. I doubt undefeated ACC passes us as there are no big W's in that conference.

As I recall, they learned that from us as either earlier that year, or the year before one of our backs did the same.

Not yet. Haven't missed a CShip with the Ducks yet. Don't want to jinx the process. Tickets will be available after we cinch.

Best Walton pic ever.

Gameday will be very INTERESTING from Cinncy this weekend. Oregon trash talking will probably be epic.
Hey Herb, scoreboard Oregon vs OSU

These amounts are staggering. However, I don't think the article takes into account how a subsequent job mitigates what is paid vs what was owed.

Hopefully at the end of the game the Ducks will be able to taunt with "SCOREBOARD".

At uw, 1968 game when Coach Woody kicked the game winning FG in the pouring rain. He missed the first attempt, but uw offsides and he hit the mulligan for a 3 - 0 win.
The U of O section was in high school type bleachers behind the endzone. Horrible seats right up until Ken nailed his kick at us!
BTW, after graduating in '72, my next game at Autzen was 10/22/1994, bleacher seats again. This time Kenny Wheaton ran right to us.

If UW has so many talented skill players, such big and talented defensive linemen, and such a vaunted pass defense why do they have 4 losses?
Because they got lucky in their other 4 games!

Best part of the article, Wilner simulates Schill in stating "But for the moment, the arch-rivals are headed in different directions, and you don’t need a UW degree to see that."

Hope his prediction comes true.

What a bozo. Lake tries to insult the Ducks and instead assaults the English language. His "more academically prowess teams" comment is a grammatical nightmare. Instead of giving interviews that embarrass his school, maybe he should attend a few freshman English classes.
Careful, calling him a Bozo will offend Clowns everywhere.

Thank you so much for this post Charles. I'm not surprised that Mario has the class to rise above Lake's self imposed fray.
Lake is doing all he can to be fired in his first season. Jen Cohen likely won't pull the trigger on Lake until he screws it up in year 2?
The bottom line. Oregon making the PO means $6M for the conference and another $4M from the team representing the conference in the Rose Bowl. Oregon to the Rose means the $6M goes away.
Along with pride, there is lots of $ at stake based on Oregon, again, carrying the conference. This is the kind of money the conference usually misses out and that the SEC brings in year after year.
GO DUCKS!
Not discounting last year, this is year 2. And, he "did win the North" last year. Me thinks he should be granted a lifetime contract for that.

Can't blame him, home state, great track program and maybe their WR room isn't quite as crowded as ours. Better to lose at this position that so many others.
-
It is a tie between him and Schill " “UW is a wonderful school with a great football history. I have great respect and affection for its president, its academic and football program and its former exceptional football coach, coach Petersen. I look forward to our team meeting theirs on the gridiron this Saturday.”
Schill can respond the way he did, and Mario kept to his narrative.

Same reaction. The reason the Stanford L didn't happen is because the OSU W did. Great scheduling right?

Obviously, the other criteria carries weight ...... "on-field play, character, scholastic achievement, and leadership"

Good for him.
"Brown is one of 10 quarterbacks named as finalists for the award, given annually to the nation’s top upperclassman QB based on on-field play, character, scholastic achievement, and leadership."

This one is fascinating:
He doesn't follow college football, so how can he, "know for a fact" anything?
Probably auditioning for an ESPN analyst job!

Why not give Huard a shot?
Agreed. However, with all the hype for him, maybe he is like TT. Although at 2-4, why not.

per 24/7
"Earlier today, I put in a Crystal Ball for Oregon.
It’s for a 2022 prospect from in-state, Portland (Ore.) Westview receiver Darrius Clemons."
