This one was ugly. I switched it off at half time. We sure miss having a defensive threat at the center position like Jordan Bell or Chris Boucher.

I was kind of hoping that Anthony Brown would move on and we could develop our QB for the future starting right now.

No question big game with lots of questions for our DUCKS. Who will be our QB? Who will be the Ohio State University QB? Interesting how the article discusses that Christobal does not want a weak preseason schedule. Fresno State, our first game can be a credible opponent depending on the year. Our third scheduled game in 2021 is Stony Brook Seawolves??????? I have never heard of them. GO DUCKS!

OK Mr. FishDuck your cup is half empty today. I say if we can find a QB that can take charge, the next three years will be amazing.

I read today that Clemson is dropping track and field. Probably does not mean much in the big picture but it could with some players we have enjoyed in the past such as DAT.

Good to see her healthy. This team will only improve if they can stay our of the way of Covid and injuries. Next game Friday against Utah in SLC at 2:00pm on Pac 12 Network.

Drama Queen?

The problem with FishDuck is that it is all about DUCKS and nothing about fish. Therefore I am here to rectify this situation with a picture of a steelhead I caught in December. Not in Oregon but on the Trinity River which is in far Northern California and within the State of Jefferson. In March I will be on the Rogue River near Medford. BTW this fished taped at 35 inches and is reportedly the biggest Steelie caught on the Trinity within the last 5-6 years. I almost certainly had an Oregon T-shirt on under the cold weather gear. GO DUCKS!

There are so many knowledgeable posters on subjects like this. The QB room has to be really difficult to manage. The coaches felt that Shough clearly had the edge over Brown. Who leaves, who stays, who is on the fence? It makes my head spin as this is the most important position on the team. What does the Spring look like for DUCK football? Have the players been vaccinated? Are they required to be vaccinated? I do not know how vaccinations are working in Oregon but in California delivery of the vaccine is way behind the power curve. With a normal spring practice, I think the coaches will have a better time to make this decision.

After the Fiesta Bowl, I was disgusted with our DUCKS, our execution and our coaching. Then I rationalized that judging our DUCKS in this shortened, screwed up season was not going to make me miserable all winter/spring. I am one who is looking forward to the 2021 season. Hopefully with Covid 19 largely in the rear view mirror and our rear ends seated in Autzen. Charles, thank you for your one minute video. We all come at this from different angles. I am an Oregon grad and can be close to rabid in my emotions. My wife on the other hand is only exposed to Oregon through her marriage to me. She is the "artist" and really does not care much about football......until she is in the stands at Autzen with me and then she is the loudest screaming person for our DUCKS that exists. GO DUCKS!

I would love to see Sean Dollars get his chance right away.

Reading these comments it appears that there is no love for Cale Millen.

We have Joe Salava'e and Keith Heyward on staff who are both Co-Defensive Coordinators with Joe listed as Co Associate Head Coach and Keith listed as Co Assistant Head Coach as well. Mario will probably be talking with both of them and could be promoting from within.

Where is Gary Campbell when we need him?

I am pretty down after this blow out. What do we do for a QB? Anthony Brown seemed to be able to move the offense but then we did not go on 4th and three yards and that was the beginning of the end. My wife looked at Shough and said "that is the look of fear in his eyes". What do we do for a running back? How do you win any game when you give up five turnovers? What do we do if we cannot defend against big bruising running backs? For me this is the worst loss in years.

My wife just joined me for the last few minutes. As the TV showed a close up of Tyler Shough she said "that is the look of fear in his eyes:. He then promptly thru an interception.

How about Sean Dollars?
