Very thorough article Darren. Now I think I have a good understanding of what is going on. What is unfortunate is Mario leaving just before national signing day. Secondly our new coach is still coaching rather than trying to bring back the recruits full time. Oh well.......changes like this are never perfect. GO DUCKS!

University of Miami just formally announced the hiring of Mario Christobal as Head Coach

$8,000,000 to buy out Manny Diaz. $9,000,000 to buy out Mario. Plus $8,000,000 to pay Mario. Unbelievable total of $25,000,000. Hope it works out for Miami. Hope it works out for Mario.

I was thinking about the Oregon vs Florida State game in the Rose Bowl, 2015. I said that the FSU players had quit and I felt the same way about Oregon last Friday night.

I just read that the Miami deadline is 12:00 noon EST. So by 9:00am PST we should know what is happening.

This has to be settled today or at latest Monday. There is a huge amount of upset in the program right now. National Signing day is Dec 15 just 10 days away. With Kirk Herbstreit suggesting and I paraphrase "The Ducks are not giving a best effort here" was about as bad as it can be. He might as well have said they have quit.

Anthony Brown had a QBR rating of 7.7 yesterday not 77 but 7.7. Has Mario explained why he did not replace AB? Can anyone explain why Mario did not replace AB? With Moorhead headed out the door I doubt that he had any input to this decision.

Utah was outstanding, physical and dominant. I find it interesting and ironic that Utah has become the team that Mario has defined as his ideal.
