  1. Kirby, maybe sit #15 on the bench for the rest of the game. He’s Bama’s offense with all of his penalties.
  2. Bama now has 10 yards rushing for the game. Seven less than halftime. They’ve ran 3 plays on UGA‘s side of the field. They’re slightly better than LSU in the 2012 NC game.
  3. Bama has 17 rushing yards. I know they have injuries, but their rushing offense has been dog balls all season (103rd).
  4. Tech averages 489 yards total offense per game this season. When they played BYU they were held to 370 both games. BYU has the 29th best defense in CFB. Oregon is 4th.
  5. Campbell, like Kiffin, is no longer in a place that’s happy to have him. He’s in a place that thinks he’s fortunate they hired him. It’s playoff or bust for both.
  6. How far does Bama jump if they beat UGA? That’s going to be the big game that could determine Oregon’s seeding.
  7. You hit the nail on the head with this comment about the problem with Campbell. He’s used to getting his 3-star recruits and developing them into a Big 12 contender. Penn State expects top 10 classes with blue chip recruits. Campbell is going to have to battle guys like Day, Lanning, Riley and Moore for the big names. I will also add that James Franklin is going to use his relationships to steal Campbell’s recruits any chance he gets. If Franklin starts winning the ACC then Penn State is going to have to fight a two front war to keep their best players in state. Now, Campbell can choose to go the Curt Cignetti route, but if he so much as loses 3 games the torches and pitchforks are going to make an appearance. They might give him a season to get right, but then it’s time to beat the big boys. He won’t make it past year three if he doesn’t beat Ohio State at least once.
  8. Paying top dollar for high school kids is a risky endeavor. Dave Portnoy contributed $12M to get Bryce Underwood to Michigan but is now saying he’s not going to pay any more money to keep him. Underwood was good but he move the needle that much. Awful AnnouncingDave Portnoy won't commit more NIL money to help Michigan...Michigan alum Dave Portnoy put money in the NIL pot to snag Bryce Underwood last year, but won't commit any more to keep him in Ann Arbor.
  9. Cue Ryan Day complaining about how the earl signing period shouldn't take place during championship weekend. I bet Cignetti was loving this drama.
  10. I watched a little bit of his film. He’s built like LMJ, but his receiving ability is reminiscent of Josh Huff. Chip would have definitely used him in the hybrid slot receiver/RB position.
  11. Pat Kraft had a meeting with some of the PSU players to discuss a myriad of things to include their coaching search, NIL, recruiting, etc. One thing that kept coming up was Oregon. He took a jab at Dante Moore and said he was (expletive) shaking in overtime. When discussing teams who consistently compete for national championships he mentioned “Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia and even Oregon, although I think they’re a bunch of frauds”. When discussing PSU’s remote location compared to other big name schools he said “Have you ever been to Oregon (Eugene)? Ain’t (expletive) going on. It’s but a bunch of (expletive) weirdos”. The subject of NIL and Nike/Phil Knight came up and he said “That’s why they’re frauds and will never win anything”. He basically thinks we buy rosters like A&M did a few years back, but then bragged about how much this season’s PSU roster cost. I’m sure Dan Lanning would love to use this information when he plays them next time, but I’m sure Pat Kraft will be jobless by then.
  12. 247 doesn’t show him as signed yet. Or is that your prediction?
  13. I would like to see John David Baker from ECU get an interview. He was co-OC with Charlie Weiss Jr. at Ole Miss for two years. He runs the same offense Ole Miss runs, so I would imagine Pete Golding might give him a call. Another off-the-radar name is Landon Koepple from Texas State. He runs the same offense Mack Leftwich runs. His only drawback might be his lack of play calling experience (one season). He could be a good hire as a co-OC/QB coach if DL gives Mehringer the nod.
  14. Indiana is sitting at 32 (24/7). They’ll still be a top 10 team next season.
  15. If you’re talking about Chris Henry then it’s Texas who allegedly has the biggest offer on the table.
  16. I’m hearing Jalen Lott may be holding off sending in his LOI until the Chris Henry situation gets resolved. He apparently signed it this morning at his school’s signing ceremony.
  17. I can almost promise you that this guy will make an appearance on the set.
  18. Kirby has never lost to Bama twice in the same season.
  19. Penn State has been taking their sweet time hiring a coach and James Franklin is making them pay. Fighting GobblerJames Franklin continues to torture Penn State and flip t...Wednesday is Early Signing Day across college football, and there is still no coach in place at Penn State since they fired James Franklin back in October. 20. I mis-read the Tweet. He is signing Thursday.
