  1. I’m actually more worried about playing Minnesota than USuC or Fuskies. OBD is on short rest and they don’t know the Gophers like they do the other two teams. USuC is athletic, but a healthy Duck team can exploit their defense. The Fuskies showed their vulnerabilities against Wisconsin tonight, but I also think the Badgers are gaining confidence knowing that Fickell is coming back next season.
  2. What part didn’t you like? Me saying that injuries have depleted our offense or that Minnesota has a chance of beating us at home coming off a bye week when we’re on short rest? I’m sure the Fuskies thought that they would “be OK for Wisconsin” today.
  3. I hate to be Debbie Downer, but with no Bryant, Sadiq or Moore we are Iowa with a better punter. Now we get a short week against another team coming off a bye. I see a trap game against Minnesota. Our defense will soon buckle under the pressure of carrying the offense on their back. .
  4. Herbstreit was darn near perfect in his prediction on College Gameday. He even had the fact that one team would have 15 points. However, he picked the wrong team to win. Oregon is definitely now a B1G team with that offensive performance.
  5. Absolutely. It’s an “Iceman” game. Both teams will play ice cold and wait for the other to make a mistake.
  6. Texas Tech tried to get a TD instead of a FG right before halftime inside BYU’s 10 yard line. They didn’t get it so it’s still 13-0. Let’s see if this comes back to bite them. Tech’s defense is awesome so I can see why they went for the TD.
  7. Typical bye week hex. Defense will have to pitch a shutout. I don’t think the passing game was going to be really effective due to the weather, but now the threat isn’t even there if Sadiq sits out.
  8. A few empty sections at Beaver Stadium and more Hoosiers fans in the stands than they’ve ever had. Happy Valley is very sad today.
  9. Penn State fumbled on 3rd and long with a minute left. Indiana scored in two plays. 17-7 Indy.
  10. I think DL will hold Dakorian out if he really is dinged up but can go. It’s going to be trench warfare due to the weather so he might be comfortable with McClellan taking his reps. I don’t know who would replace Harkey. My guess is Wilson.
  11. Reece Davis just alluded to Dak’s injury on CGD. This report has legs. I’m expecting the Harkey injury to be true as well.
  12. Well, this is going around social media right now. Twitter is often times filled with a lot of fake BS. I can’t tell if it’s real because I don’t have a Scoop Duck account to confirm if Justin Hopkins really reported this. If true then it’s going to be a long day for the offense. It basically says that Dakorian Moore and Harkey are out and Sadiq and Davison are questionable. However, there is nothing on the injury report. I remember last season the news outlets jumped on the Jordan Burch injury fairly quickly. It’s addressed in this article as being rumors for now. We’ll see later on today. Autzen ZooOregon at Iowa gridiron clash, updates on weather, odds,...The line has stayed steady and the weather forecast has worsened for Oregon at Iowa while injury rumors are swirling.
  13. It’s a move that I might save for a championship game. Leave it to Riley to burn it against Northwestern.
  14. 21-14 USC. It should probably be 21-14 NW since they fumbled an interception return out of the end zone. Number 6 for USC is a playmaker. He’s a problem for defenses.
  15. Another good strategy. Not just because of field position and weather, but also because Camden Sappingdonado is in a slump. OBD either need to punt or sacrifice a live chicken before the game to ward off the evil kicking spirits. If that doesn't work then maybe they can borrow Jobu from Pedro Cerrano.
  16. Jonathan Smith has recruiting relationships on the West Coast and he ran a pretty good offense for the fuskies before coming to OSU and completely turning that program around. It seemed like he went to MSU because he had to. Not because he wanted to. I hope he doesn't go to Seattle because OBD might not be able to steal as many of their local recruits if he comes back.
  17. This should be the strategy, but I will add one more thing. Punt the ball out of bounds. Their returner averages 25 yards per return and has two touchdowns. He also has eight kickoffs for 262 yards (long of 100 yards) and one touchdown so OBD should probably kick away from him. He could be the difference between a one-score win and a one-score loss.
  18. Wisconsin is giving Fickell another season. That came out yesterday. I don't think Smith is welcome back in Corvallis. There are many good, young OC's out there right now who could replace Stein. Namely, Jordan Davis (UNT), Landon Koepple (TX State), and John David Baker (ECU). They all have top rated offenses in CFB. Josh Pate said this the other day on the Bussin' podcast: “Let’s just keep an eye on Lincoln Riley at USC.” There is speculation that if Aranda get s fired at Baylor or McGuire gets lured away from TTU then he's gone. Dr. Jack's Hot Take of the Day: Fisch leaves UW and Jonathan Smith replaces him. Brian Kelly replaces Smith at MSU. You heard it here first.
  19. This is an expectation and not an official announcement. He could probably use another year in college before going pro. Dante Moore Reportedly Expected to Return to Oregon, Forg...The quarterback class in the 2026 NFL draft might not be as strong as expected, with Dante Moore reportedly leaning toward staying at Oregon for another season.
  20. I hope this isn't one of those games where he goes for it on 4th down six or seven times. Oregon should be fine in the rain. Especially if they took the opportunity to practice in it this past week. I believe it's been nice all week in Iowa, so they would have to simulate wet conditions. It's not like they throw that well anyway. They're 119th in total offense.
  21. I'm surprised you didn't see any 2010 or 2014 Oregon Ducks National Champions shirts.
  22. No. Brock is a downgrade. Especially against the Iowa defense.
