  1. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue (If you’re an “Airplane” fan you’ll get it).
  2. I’ll take Nacho and Crader. There’s a time and a place for a hired hand. I don’t think left tackle is it. Spend the money elsewhere.
  3. Kiffin is doing Kiffin things. He’s trying to keep him from visiting Oregon. This is an excerpt from SDS. "Multiple reports that Seaton is expected to be in Oregon Monday, but his LSU itinerary stretches through Monday, including a private dinner at Supper Club Monday night, sources confirm. "Also of note: Tuesday is the last day to register for classes at LSU for spring semester, so the roster will be set for spring football. Ideally, he would sign and enroll Tuesday when the campus reopens after the holiday." LSU Tigers On SILSU Football 'Pushing for Commitment' From Jordan Seaton...Lane Kiffin and the LSU Tigers continue intensifying their pursuit for Colorado Buffaloes offensive tackle Jordan Seaton as he navigates his official visit in B
  4. If he didn’t break it on the kneel down he certainly aggravated it then.
  5. I’ve read that Oregon has lost interest. Seaton is making schools deal with his uncle and he wants to be paid to visit. This is on top of his asking price. Maybe DL has realized this is the type of situation that can ruin a culture. Meanwhile, he’s in Miami getting police escorts around tow to get him through traffic which is understandably heavy this weekend. So, they will probably give him what he wants. Miami has also gone all in on QB Darian Mensah from Duke. Apparently, they’re willing to buy out his Duke contract and terminate it. He will allegedly receive $10 M, an Adidas deal, country club housing and bring his sister in to play soccer+NIL.
  6. He can become the second QB ever drafted by the Broncos to win a playoff game.
  7. Seaton is visiting Mississippi State right now. His old OL coach, Phil Loadholdt is there. It’s looking like Lane and Mario are also going to make a big push for him. If Oregon loses out on him they’re still going to be in good hands according to Geoff Schwartz.
  8. The teams in the losers bracket would then have to play each other in the most humiliating bowl games like the New Mexico Bowl, Idaho Potatoes Bowl or the Dirty Myrtle Bowl.
  9. Sixteen is about the maximum that most college football fans would want to see. Indiana vs. USC, Utah vs. Ohio State, Texas Tech vs. Texas, etc. would all be worth watching. Watching teams ranked lower than 16 would be like a mid-tier bowl game. Especially the way the SEC teams were falsely inflated this season.
  10. Second one in two years. He likely knows it’s best to go get some film and stats at a place where he can play, so he can transfer to a better school later. That’s how it works these days.
  11. It’s not that bad and it happens all the time in pro sports because they set the expansion teams up for so much success. Think about how the Indians must’ve felt when they lost to the Marlins in the 1997 World Series. Florida got their franchise in 1993.
  12. His readiness to take over the team was most likely the reason they brought Raiola in. That, and to breed competition at the QB position. It will make them all work harder and that’s why Lanning does these types of things.
  13. Both teams played a common opponent (Ohio State) within two weeks of one another. Both games were at neutral sites. Both beat them in close games. I think people see Indiana as some unbeatable juggernaut because they killed Bama and Oregon. Maybe they will kill Miami, but Josh Pate doesn't think so. He has the Canes winning a close one.
  14. I was listening to Danny Kannel a couple of mornings ago and he thought this would be the right decision. His thought process was that the more experience Dante got the better chance he would be at succeeding and thus, earning a second contract. The first contract is nice, but the second contract can be nine figures if you prove to be the future of your franchise (just ask Justin).
