  1. Mack Brown doesn’t let opt out travel to the bowl games. They’re for guys who are still on the team.
  2. Michigan is 3rd nationally in passing defense (16 int’s vs. 7 TD’s allowed) and 8th in rushing defense. Those numbers look favorable for Michigan, but these rankings are always skewed because of the conferences these teams play in. The best passing defense Washington has played so far is Oregon (13th). The best rushing defense they played was Texas (3rd). Michigan is the most physical team Washington will face all year, while Washington will be the most dynamic team Michigan will face. In this case I will take brute force over finesse (see 2010 Auburn), although I am somewhat weary of my take because Washington hasn’t lost indoors with Penix. It’s only been 3 games, but Penix loves a climate controlled environment.
  3. That’s the thing about Michigan’s D-Line. They can stuff the run and get to the QB without putting extra men in the box.
  4. This thread is for discussions, analysis, predictions, etc. Washington has not faced a defense like Michigan’s all season. Texas had a strong DL, but their secondary has been pretty bad all season. The only good passing QB’s that Texas faced all year beat them. My guess is that this game will end up like the Oregon/OSU national championship game in 2015. Washington will hang with Michigan for a while, but the Wolverines running game and defense will grind them down late in the game. Michigan by two scores.
  5. Texas, much like Ohio State , is one of those teams that has a huge amount of fans who have never been to their campus. They can be quite annoying and very easy to root against.
  6. DeBoer should’ve taken the points instead of going for it on 4th down. Texas isn’t moving the ball very well against them. Those 3 points might be huge later on.
  7. I have the Huskies winning this game by two scores, but hoping for them to take a beating.
  8. Especially since he would start the 2019 season and anchor the team to a Pac 12 championship and Rose Bowl win.
  9. Sark is off to a good start. I haven’t seen him ream any security guys so far.
  10. No SEC team should have a Rose Bowl trophy in their case.
  11. Bo - Offensive MVP Bassa - Defensive MVP
  12. He was in the post game video, so he was there.
  13. There’s only one problem with that. His life revolves around killing ducks.
  14. We were due after the Doug Brenner situation in 2015.
  15. This will be the annual Michigan choke job in the playoffs. They’re especially inept against SEC teams.
  16. The Flames may have played with more confidence on both sides of the ball if not for Bo and the rest of the returning players hammering them into the ground on a regular basis.
  17. I was hoping they would let Novosad finish it off. I’ve always said it’s 0-0 when the backups are in during a blowout.
  18. Who would’ve thought that the Ducks would get a tougher matchup than Georgia.
  19. I hope whoever selected this matchup gets the message that it was a bad idea.
  20. I remember letting Lockie play the 2nd half of a bowl game with a larger lead.
  21. Ducks 42-31 0 TO’s 1 Sack 264 Passing Yards
  22. I only follow them until they get fired from their first job. Then it’s no fun anymore (see Taggart). However, I didn’t have a negative attitude towards Chip personally. I wanted him to fail miserably, but I didn’t want him to fail because he left Oregon. I wanted him to fail because he was coaching the Eagles.
  23. He thinks Leavitt’s a clown. It makes sense. He was the RB coach and running game coordinator, so he was in lock step with Mario.
