How much of the possible Lanning hire is being downplayed because GA's in the final 4? I think he'd be a great hire especially with a big time
OC. He may not hit a home run right out of the gate but he seems eager to learn and improve vs our last HC.

No one could foresee dream school job openings when hiring the last to HC's. IMO it was bad luck on Oregons part. How do you protect
against that? Where's Chip want to go next? NFL was a bust. Does he think he can regain some of the magic if he comes back or is it the
money? He's doesn't need more money. Maybe he felt he left with unfinished business. I think thats a good reason for him personally to
come back. But who's knows

We have no idea except for what's been made public as to who Mullens has talked to. We have no idea how many NO's or YES's he's
received. Looks to me like he's exploring all options.

UCLA for 2021 had more PTS, PTS/G, YDS/G, passing yrds and rushing yrds than Oregon did. All with transfers and lower ranked players than
Oregon. D was the issue. Azzinaro did him no favors.
