Wasn’t it Jordan Davison who carried the ball for the 1st down? I don’t think Harris has played yet.

Let’s Talk About the Ducks’ New Defensive Position
I'm not going to tell you that I know for sure. But as a former collegiate (Div 3) footballer, I think so. I believe that OBD have instructed the LBs to line up wider (more over the tackles) and have the third safety 6-7 yds deep in the middle. I believe this formation helps creates confusion with the OL on who to block. The OL are often taught to look for the LBS and the safety (who is a little farther from the LOS than most OL are comfortable) is then free to attach the LOS and make a tackle in run support. My $0.02. Your mileage may vary.

Uniform Reveal! Classic Good Looks, of COURSE!
I'm in favor of yellow pants, yellow jerseys and green helmet. But what do I know? I can barely dress myself and I wouldn't care if the Ducks wore burlap sacks, as long as they win!

Novosad was listed as “questionable” on the injury report. I believe he is still QB2.

Oklahoma State's HC Mike Gundy: Talkin Out of Both Sides of His Mouth
With insufficient NIL $, I think this may be the Cowboys' recruiting pitch: Drink and drive? No problem, you can still play! I don't care if you steal from WalMart, just go get some sacks! Break any law you want and you'll still be on the field on Saturdays!

GameDay Thread: Oregon vs. Montana State...Let's Discuss!
I noted suprise starters above. Other personnel surprises: Bedford was the 4th G to play (after Pregnon Iuli and Rogers) Hughes got 0 touches. Other RB that got touches: Whittington, Limar, Davidson, Hill, Harris Florence didn't play, even with Johnson out (I don't why he is out) Alexander only played sparingly

2025 Fall Roster Depth Chart Available on This Forum!
With currently112 players, am I correct that in order to comply with the 105 man roster limit, OBD will have inform 7 players at the end of fall camp that they will no longer be on the team? And am I also correct that the coaching staff purposely has more players than are allowed to increase tension and practice intensity among those fighting for the last few spots with the hope that intensity will trickle up to the whole team?

When It Comes to the Bottom LIne, You Want to be B1G
Here is a link to an article by Jon Wilner regarding Pac-12 finances for the last year before everyone but Beavis and the Cougs left for greener pastures. One key finding is that: "Oregon is the only school that did not book any student fees or direct transfers as revenue, and the Ducks managed to report an operating surplus of $1.9 million." Most Pac-12 legacy schools leaned hard on campuses to bail athletics out of settlement, growing expenses WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Based on NCAA filings and upcoming release of tax returns, it appears Pac-12 schools ran a collective deficit of $110 million for fiscal 2024 year.

Men's Basketball: Oregon is in Play for the Player They Really Need
Here is a link to a blurb agout Devon Pryor's workout with the Blazers. Pryor is quoted as follows: “I’m in no rush, but for me, it’s just the feedback, as much feedback as I can get,” Pryor said. “Because I know there’s still plenty of ways for me to grow, and so I’m just open to everybody’s opinions and what they say I can do better. Keep open ears and a closed mouth.” Prospects Speak With Media After Blazers Pre-Draft Workout WWW.BLAZERSEDGE.COM The Blazers hosted their first pre-draft workout of the year Tuesday. Hear from some of the prospects.

Men's Basketball: Oregon is in Play for the Player They Really Need
Yes. That is why I was surprised when I heard (from what I believe to be reliable source -- one of the Duck podcasts) that Pryor was going to try and get a job in the NBA (but likely end up at Oregon).

And surprisingly (at least to me), I heard Pryor is going to test the NBA waters.
