  1. I'm excited for the start of the hoop season. This team looks like it has size (not at much at Center as the recent past, but at the wing spots) and versatility. I'm thinking the Ducks basketball team might join the Ducks football team and make a splash in their inaugural season in the B1G. Go Ducks!!!
  2. B1G refs will be better than PAC refs.
  3. Ducks! 39-7 (just like last time) 2 tos 4 sacks 305 passing yards (just like last time)
  4. Purely anecdotal, but when the Buckeyes were in town, I met a handful of their fans who said they bought season tickets and were confident that they were going to make $ by selling the tickets to the other game.
  5. Absolutely agree with the premise of this article. I’ve been thinking about how much easier it is to navigate the B1G as compared to the PAC. I agree the style of play is a major reason why. More specifically, the QB play was vastly superior in the PAC as compared to the B1G. But I vehemently disagree with the following statement in the article: “The Pacific Northwest teams of Oregon and Washington may be strange for B1G foes with our cool weather at times and massive downpours of rain into November.” It NEVER rains at Autzen Stadium!
  6. We should keep in mind that is the #20 ranked team OBD is absolutely toying with. And I still see room for improvement!
  7. Illinois takes a TO? On first down? Thanks!
  8. I want an offensive lineman TD!
  9. The missed fumble just lets us pad our offensive stats.
  10. OBD is trying to increase DG’s Heisman profile.
  11. Thanks for posting, Cartm25. I recognize that there are much bigger problems in life, but one my big pet peeves is when people refer to The Duck as Puddles. Go Ducks!!!
  12. On Sunday, I went to the Duck mens' and womens' basketball showcase at West Linn High School and one of the players I wanted to see was Supreme and his absence was notable. On a more postive note, I had a pleasant conversation with Coach Altman (mostly about the Ducks 2-3 matchup zone) and he seems optimistic about this year's team.
  13. Thanks, Charles for the kind words. More importantly, thank you for the opportunity to participate in the OBD forum. I can’t help but note that both teams missed a field goal or otherwise I would have nailed the score. Last, but not least, to all those Duck fans who are wringing their hands over missed tackles, missed blocks, etc., I hear you. But I recommend that you take a step back and appreciate that OBD just SHUT OUT a team, are 7-0, and will be ranked #1 or #2. OBD have come a long way since I was a young lad cheering for Reggie Ogburn and the Ducks were running the triple option. What a great time to be. Duck! ENJOY! Go Ducks!!!
  14. I believe they are preserving Moore’s redshirt. Nice to see Alexander get an INT on good coverage.
  15. Yes. A lot of holding by Boilermakers. But pursuit angles/tackling not great. Brandon Johnson needs to improve in order for OBD Natty. I hope Jabbar is OK.
  16. Ducks 38-3 2 Turnovers 4 sacks 277 passing yards
  17. Agree. My boss is very unhappy with my productivity during this Duck football season. And I’m my own boss!
  18. Great stuff all around. And I learned that we all should start calling the deep balls "Blur balls" and not "Bird bombs."
  19. I spent the whole day in Eugene and Autzen tastefully trolling OSU fans. Not because they were mean or crude, but because they were universally self-important, cocky and arrogant. It was a lot of fun!
  20. Oregon, 35-28 (just like last time), 1, 4, 337
  21. I brought and used by Duck Lips for the Boise State game and no one said anything.
  22. I compared the box scores of the Ohio State v MSU and OBD v MSU games and was struck by how eerily similiar the statistics for both games were. Do what you wish with this information. Total Yards v MSU OSU - 483 UO - 477 Yards per Pass v MSU OSU - 7.5 UO - 7.8 Yards per Rush v MSU OSU - 5.3 UO - 5.8 Total Yards Allowed to MSU OSU - 246 UO - 250 Yards per Pass Allowed to MSU OSU - 8.0 UO - 8.7 Yards per Rush Allowed to MSU OSU - 1.9 UO - 2.0
