  1. David, you did a great job of describing this theory. You summarized your article by saying, "This is part of a well thought out and executed game plan..." Isn't it nice to have a head coach who is using every tool and strategy to make Oregon successful! Your description was well thought out and easy to understand. Thank you!
  2. Sorry DuckFan93. I just checked Fox 12 Portland tv schedule and only game listed is a 1:00 pm game for regional broadcast. No info on which teams. It doesn't look like we'll be able to watch Herbert and Mariota in Portland.
  3. Thanks Drex for showing us the numbers! The Ducks this year are efficiently scoring points 74% without the loss to Georgia. Wow! You make a good point about injuries on kickoffs. Thank you for sharing a thought provoking article.
  4. NFL schedule says Fox 10 A. M. Pacific Time
  5. The energy and enthusiasm is awesome! Ducks are having fun. Let's keep this going!
  6. Thank our lucky stars that the Oregon Brand is entertaining and exciting to watch again! I'm as happy as a Duck can be! Thank you for another wonderful article Mr. FishDuck. I'm looking forward to learning more about Coach Dillingham's offense in future articles. This site is the best place to read about Oregon Ducks.
  7. Thanks Jordan, excellent recap of the game. Coaches and players are truly taking it one game at a time. Hungry and humble as Dan Lanning said.
  8. When you have an exciting offense scoring boatloads of points and QB Bo Nix lighting up the scoreboard with his passing and running the networks will set a game time that will draw lots of viewers! Go Ducks!
  9. Oregon opponents will usually bring their best. The Cal Bears did for a quarter and a half. They have some good players with pride. But I am really impressed how the Oregon coaches problem solve, communicate what is needed to the players, and take control of the last 6 games! Improved execution of both offense and defense is visible. 42 points scored today. The defense had interceptions, sacks, and tackles for loss. Dominating. Garbage time doesn't matter. Monday the team goes back to the doctor to fix problems and continue to get better. What a team! Go Ducks!
  10. Thanks, DazeNconfused and Mr. FishDuck, for a good look at what to expect from the Cal game today. The two of you should be hired by the networks! Your insights are so good. It will be great to end the Strawberry Canyon past with a Lanning (and staff) Landslide!
  11. I just had the opportunity while on the treadmill to watch all the post practice interviews of players. Thank you Pennsylvania Duck and NJ Duck for posting them each week! My impression of Oregon's players: A great group of intelligent, humble, and nice men! I'm very grateful they chose to.play for Oregon!
  12. Awesome amount of perseverance and integrity! True grit exemplified. Congratulations and best wishes for you Cam!
  13. Charles you gave us so much to think about. In today's wonderful article you summarized Coach Dillingham's, offense as, "it’s more important to be efficient, to make the most of every precious drive." We now have the term average number of points per possession. While reading I remembered the movie Moneyball, and the use of statistics to change how baseball was played. Coach Tony DeMeo's shortening the game strategy was eye opening for me. These strategies fit together. Scoring efficiently but shortening the game at the appropriate time is genius! This explains what we see happening with the Oregon team. I am so thankful we have a staff of bright coaches working in tandem teaching and guiding Our Beloved Ducks! And thank you Charles for sharing your insights!
  14. I like his quick feet, long arms, good hand fighting. In the first video clip he used quick feet and lower body to shield a fast pass rusher from the QB. He brought his arms up high where some linemen would have grabbed the defender getting a holding call. Like someone earlier said, "You can't coach big." I like this guy. Welcome to the University of Oregon George!
  15. Closer today than last July. Thursday Night NFL success leads to continued discussions. https://tucson.com/sports/pac-12-hotline/amazon-exec-very-interested-in-big-time-college-sports-thats-good-news-for-pac-12/article_f2a122da-54a3-11ed-b36c-4f8d10e865eb.html https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/uw-husky-football/will-the-pac-12-and-amazon-partner-on-a-media-deal-heres-why-it-could-happen/
  16. I agree that a reduction of games would be needed with the expanded playoffs. 12 to 10 sounds good. Eliminate one conference game (playing 8), and eliminate one out of conference. In addition, pay the players for their participation in the playoffs. A lot of tv money to be split for the players. They do the work, run the risk, and provide the entertainment.
  17. I agree with John Canzano. Here's hoping a good coach and fantastic man like Dan Lanning finds Oregon to be "home"! Go Ducks!
  18. Oregon is leading the way for excitment! The Pac-12 Continues to Be College Football's Weirdest and Most Exciting Conference BLEACHERREPORT.COM The jokes have been loud and deliberate. The reputation has been mangled. The general perception of college football out west has...

  20. Joshua, you nailed it with this article! Thanks for your contributions to FishDuck. Great points for Duck fans to PONDer. (Pun intended.) Point one: "Dan Lanning is on his way to re-establishing Oregon as a powerhouse program, and 2022 might just be the start of a green-and-yellow resurgence." I agree with you - Dan Lanning is building a first class football program. Point two: "At some point, a coach has to get his players to play to their potential." Talented players need to be taught. Undisciplined past performance and just relying on god-given speed and strength is not enough to play at an elite level. Your writing today was terrific. Thanks Joshua! The best is yet to come. Go Ducks!
  21. Thanks for posting the weekly press conference with Dan Lanning! It seems the questions by the press were good questions. Things we as fans are interested in. Coach Lanning gives straight responses and his leadership goals as head coach are consistent and honest. I love his "going to see the doctor"; we're practicing to improve - a growth mindset.
  22. Thanks Darren for an entertaining article today! You started my day off with a smile. The Ducks are a breath of fresh air. I'm constantly going "Wow" and "Did you see that?" What a joy compared to me yelling, "What are you doing you idiot?" last year! Or something else more crude to the TV. The entire Oregon staff is the source of this major improvement lead by an all American nice guy who happens to know a great deal of football!
  23. Chip Kelly after the game. Chip Kelly had no answers for the Pac-12’s home-field tidal wave TROJANSWIRE.USATODAY.COM .@Donald_Smalley of @Ducks_Wire captured Chip Kelly’s reaction to an Autzen Stadium homecoming which didn’t go as planned for UCLA. We have extra details as well.
