Oregon will host Colorado next weekend in a tantalizing Pac-12 matchup. Dan Lanning's past remarks on the Buffaloes program recirculated in anticipation of the marquee bout. During the summer, Colorado announced a move to the Big 12 in 2024. Oregon's head coach threw shade at the program when asked about the switch. "Not a big reaction," Lanning told reporters on July 31, per Breanna Greene of KOIN News. "I'm trying to remember what they won to affect this conference, and I don't remember.
