Words Alone Cannot Describe the Utter Ridiculousness of this Face Book Post
And they didn’t even take one of the fastest growing TV markets in UNLV from Vegas. Why not take UNLV? It makes more sense than Boise.

Four Mt. West Teams Set to Join Pac2?
Wow. What to say about this? I don't think it is necessarily a terrible idea to try and rebuild the PAC with the best MWC and AAC teams available. Then you ensure that you are the Top G5 conference and likely have access to the playoff most years. I know some say they will get cut out next round, but I have my doubts. However, as another poster pointed out, where is the media rights money coming from and will it be any better than the MWC money? Seems like a big risk for the 4 teams leaving the MWC if there is no set deal on the table, unless OSU and WSU are footing the bill, which I guess is likely.

Ducks at No. 9 in AP Poll, & No. 6 with Coaches Poll
Hmmm. Penn State was terrible yesterday, but they stay at No. 8? No. 9 is generous, considering.

Oregon Fans Reappraise Expectations, or NOT?
Jackson certainly looked the part at times last night. He is young, so will make some mistakes, but love his effort and motor. He is going to be very good.

Oregon Fans Reappraise Expectations, or NOT?
Idaho beat Wyoming yesterday, so at least we have that going for us.

Oregon Fans Reappraise Expectations, or NOT?
I am not going to panic yet. The next three games over 4 weeks are all very winnable, even with our current OL and discipline issues. They need to run with the lineup of Poncho at center, Harper at RG and Strother on the left side. That lineup played significantly better last night and they should have stuck with it longer. Hopefully, they see it on film and make the permanent adjustment. The penalties can get cleaned up, those are just stupid mistakes. I have confidence in Lanning that he will get this piece sorted out. Hopefully, the team can make some significant improvement before they play tOSU. But can they make enough improvement not to get completely boatraced in that game? I am skeptical right now. The stretch starting with tOSU is going to be brutal. If they can’t get it cleaned up, we still have access to the Las Vegas bowl as members of the BIG. 😂

Post Boise State Game Discussion!
Yeah. I think they slid Harper over to RG and put Strother in on the left side. They looked to play a lot better with that lineup, then they went away from it. Little bit of a head scratcher. I wish they would have stuck with that for a while. We were ripping off some runs and had good protection.

Post Boise State Game Discussion!
Finally a win against Boise! I’ll take it. I am confused though. It looked like they pulled Pickard out, put Poncho at center and moved Harper over and that lineup played well during that series. Then they went back to the lineup that was struggling. Why? Did I miss something??

Is USC Getting Screwed?
IMO, this article is spot on. Strength of Schedule is used as a measure to compare teams, when the rankings that are used are purely subjective. College football needs something similar to the NET ranking used for college basketball, especially with these mega-conferences. Right now, there is little to no consideration for unbalanced schedules, number of conference games, cupcakes, etc. The days of evaluating teams based on preseason ranking and win % only should have been over a long time ago. Barely getting past some FCS school should put a major dent in your resume. Oregon has what amounts to a Q4 win and USC has what would be considered Q1 win. Right now, USC should be well ahead of Oregon in the rankings.

Did Bo Nix Make Our Past O-lines Look Better Than They Really Were?
Yeah. Agree. Bo had incredible pocket presence and probably contributed to those low sack and pressure numbers. Either way, our OL should have manhandled any FCS team and that is concerning for sure. Specifically, the right side of the line played about as poorly a game as I have seen in a long, long time. IMO, this was the worst performance by a Lanning coached team to date. I have to wonder if Gabriel was hurt or if he was not seeing the whole field. His numbers were fantastic, but there were several occasions where he checked down, where even on TV you could see a receiver running free down field for what looked to be an easy pitch and catch for a score. On one occasion, he checked down to Ferguson on 3rd down and I believe they picked up the first. However, the TV angle showed Tez running free towards the end zone with nobody close to him. On occasion, QBs will mis those reads, but that happened at least three times that I could see on TV. Which likely means it happened more than that. Did anyone evaluate film yet?

Hats Off to the Idaho Vandals
I can’t remember the last time our OL played that bad in a game. The right side of the offensive line was like a sieve all night. Hopefully we get Bedford back next week for Boise and can slide Poncho back over to Center.

GameDay Thread versus Idaho: Join Us!
How bad was the right side of the offensive line tonight? I hope Bedford can play next week. That was flat out UGLY.

OL looks pretty bad. I hope Gabriel is okay after hitting his hand on that helmet.

Comcast/Xfinity Blacking Out West Coast B10 Games Due to Carrier Dispute
I believe you can get all of this with YouTube TV, plus all the ESPN channels and other college networks. In addition, you get up to three BIG network channels for overflow (probably critical for hoops and other non-football sports). I did a ton of research and I kept landing back on YouTube TV as my best option for this year. I signed up last week and they have a deal this month for something like $54/mo for the first 4 months. Sometimes you have to laugh. It is almost like the cable companies are trying to go out of business.

It’s Time for Duck Fans to Yell-O
Its difficult to find good yellow gear. I don't love wearing jerseys and yellow gear outside of that seems thin. BTW...I'm heading to Michigan State, so I am taking recommendations on where to find good yellow gear. 🤣

2024 BIG Info, Predictions, Etc. - 9
How in the world is ND only No. 4 on this list? The last time they won a major bowl game was the 1994 Cotton Bowl. Arguably, the best post season win they have in the last 30 years was in the Camping World Bowl. 🤣 ND might be the most overrated team in all of sports, not just college football.

Something Funny to Ponder: Prime at USC?
Hmmmm. Seems like exactly something USC would do. Get rid of a coach that is struggling to recruit and plug holes in his porous offense and defensive lines……and replace him with a coach that is struggling to recruit and plug holes in his porous offense and defensive lines……for more money. 🤣 USC has some of the some problems that they had under Helton with a better offense (and Caleb Williams) masking some of those gaps. At one point USC had 21 highly ranked DBs on their roster but somehow couldn’t find a few 3* lineman that were capable enough to stop teams from running at a clip of 7 yards per carry.

How to Watch the Ducks on Xfinity?
Yeah. I love that about streaming. I shut off my Sling account after college basketball is over because I generally don’t have time to watch TV in the summers. Someone said that you can run a 4-game split screen on YouTube TV. That will be cool.

How to Watch the Ducks on Xfinity?
I have not had cable in years. I was using Sling and an HD antenna for Duck games. I think I am going to make the switch to YouTube TV this year. We will see how it goes.

Bummer. Hopefully, we pick him up in the transfer portal next year. 🤣

Oregon Football’s Mount Rushmore
My attempt.: Coach - Chip Kelly. He took the team to an undefeated season and a spot in the NC game. A milestone that I never believed I would see in my lifetime when I was a student. Player 1 - Marcus Mariota. The only Heisman winner and only QB to win a playoff game plus ridiculous stats with almost no mistakes. The GOAT. Player 2 - Kenny Wheaton. I am probably biased here, as I was a junior and in the student section for The Pick. At the time, this felt like the biggest thing that had ever happened in sports to me and is the defining moment of when the program really shifted. Player 3 - Joey Harrington. As the poster above noted, he was just nails. What seemed like 10000 comeback 4th quarter wins and dismantled Colorado. He just had “it” in college. Player 4 - LaMichael James. When I rewatch those games, I don’t think I truly understood at the time how dominate he was in that offense. He would have broken the Pac-12 rushing record if he would have stayed for his final year. Disclaimer - I started at Oregon in 1991, so didn’t include anyone before that as I never saw them play live.
