  1. KSU is in the red zone with a questionable call.
  2. Lot of great games on!
  3. Kansas State is driving on Texas. Less than 4 minutes remaining.
  4. Clemson got the ball back trying to run the clock out. Less than 2 minutes remaining.
  5. Texas A&M just scored a TD up 35-31 over #10 Old Miss with 4:34 left.
  6. Clemson up 31-23. ND has ball with 3:16.
  7. Texas fans getting restless. Boo’d their QB/offense on an incomplete pass on first and 10.
  8. Wonder what the team will wear against USC? The game is a blackout. Black unis will be similar to this weeks.
  9. Texas fumbled. KSU scored a TD but missed the extra point. The game is now tied at 27! UPSET ALERT!!!
  10. Yes, but now they are charging for content on Peacock, such as live sports. It was probably a free trial period on Comcast but now NBC wants to get paid. I like the Ohio State fan’s reaction when they realized that one of their games this year was going to be on Peacock. What the heck is Peacock and how do I get it?!
  11. Clemson up on Norte Dame 31-23 with 11:03 remaining but just punted the ball back to ND.
  12. NOT SO FAST!!!! Kansas State just scored a TD. 27-21 Texas with 13:33 to play.
  13. I'm not looking forward to potentially playing on Peacock next year. At least the Pac-12 Network is included in my cable sports package. I'll have to figure out how to watch those games, as there is no way I'm signing up for Peacock.
  14. As much as I’d like for Oregon to get Arch Manning, if we do bring in a transfer portal QB, we need one that is capable of taking the reins from Bo and winning now (i.e., not a developmental project). Has anyone seen Arch play?
  15. So strange to see. It’s like a full schedule of OOC games with a couple of PAC-8 games sprinkled in for good measure. I’m not sure if I’ll ever get fully used to this. The top teams will be tough but the rest of the B1G is blah. And to think we are only getting a partial share. I’m more excited to play Hawaii, Boise State and TT vs. Illinois, Maryland and Purdue.
  16. In the below segment, Bo’s parents said how much it meant that Dan Lanning met Bo on the field every time he came off to offer encouragement (and not to chew him out) in that Georgia game. Bo’s dad, who knows a thing or two about football, choked up and said that that is the moment that he knew Bo would be just fine at Oregon. (I believe that it’s around the 9:15 mark but the entire segment is worth watching).
  17. I posted this in another thread but I highly recommend watching the Ducks vs. Them video from this past week. It gives you a bit of an inside look at the prep leading up to the Utah game. You could tell how well prepared the players were for Utah. They knew how to attack them. One of my favorite moments in the video was when the coaches on the sidelines, during the game, were trying to figure out what play Bo Nix auditabled to then they realized it was a good check. Pretty funny that the coaches are scrambling to try to figure out what was called. That trust is rare. Bo Nix has earned a PhD as a quarterback. I can't remember a college QB playing at such a high level with an understanding of how to attack an opposing defense and where to go with the ball. Heck, most NFL QBs never get to this level. Enjoy it while you can Duck fans! We are witnessing something special...
  18. The Ducks vs. Them video (link below) shows how impressive the coaches prep of the players was for the Utah game. I also love to hear the commentary between the coaches during the game, especially with the coaches trying to figure out what play Bo Nix auditabled to.
  19. Reportedly, if USC loses, then our game against the Trojans will likely be at 7:30pm on FOX. I hate attending late games, so I'll be pulling for USC. https://twitter.com/wilnerhotline/status/1719050422093295899/photo/1
  20. I haven't had many interactions with Utah fans but they have a first class head football coach.
  21. I watched the replay earlier today and came away impressed with how Oregon attacked the middle of Utah's defense. With your excellent article, now I know why they were successful. Dan Lanning mentioned that the Oregon coaching staff was making adjustments to the game plan, late in the week, based on some things they saw. I wonder if this was one of those adjustments. Bo Nix was especially sharp to start the Utah game. I believe that Bo's only incompletion in the first half was a perfect pass that was uncharacteristically dropped by his wide receiver.
  22. Wow. What a huge pickup by Lanning, Tosh and staff! Our defense will continue to be dominate for years to come. I was bummed when he originally announced that he would be staying home. So glad that he kept in touch with the coaching staff and reconsidered. He had to love what he saw on Saturday against Utah. Welcome to the Oregon family, Elijah. Can’t wait to see you wrecking havock in the opposing team’s backfield.
  23. Great thread! This is what makes this message board so great. The TV analyst during the Utah game mentioned that Oregon was playing more man-to-man coverage on the outside this year. That would be understandable, given the overall upgrade of our secondary personnel this season. Last season, it seems like our coaches were playing a more bend but don't break D and too often (e.g., UW game) they seemed to break. Have others seen the same change in secondary coverage?
  24. Oregon was ahead 31-10 late in the 3rd quarter. Barring turnovers, shouldn't you expect your defense to win you the game? Twenty-one points in the 4th quarter to a team who couldn't throw a forward pass? The Oregon defense got absolutely gashed on the ground by OSU last year - 268 yards rushing! It was an embarrassment and reminded me of the Stanford game with Toby Gerhart. Credit to the coaches for going out in the off-season and fixing the issue.
