I know hardly a Duck fan who does like the taunting and celebrating that goes on by this team - but it's been a part of Oregon for a very long time, even before Lanning showed up. We were hoping Coach Lanning would rein that in but it's been the one area of disappoint for some of us - the only one, so far.
This attitude that fosters the taunting is starting to bleed over into penalties and DL needs to get a firm grip on it soon before it costs Oregon a win they should have had, which it will eventually.
So, you're not alone in this, Debbie.
I should have vented to my dog, not in here.

California stomped them. Enough said. I’m being grumpy I guess.
We have out recruited every team in the pac for several years now. We have 5 stars sitting on the bench!!!!
And yet we still have to worry about an Arizona team that should have lost to ND state!
And gave up 50 to California.
And then I Watched Missouri physically knock the stuffing out of Georgia!
And I still see people saying… just wait 3 more years! So we need to have the best recruiting class for a decade in the PAC to ge good?
And I am frustrated at the taunting and celebrating I see on the field. Kirby smart is why that never happened at Georgia apparently? -
If we lose to the worst team in football tomorrow I’m finished as a Duck.
I will throw out all my green and yellow items and become a beaver fan.
Baseball is my second favorite sport. Beaver baseball will be my new number 1 passion.

Not just concerned about Flowe.
I still do not think our defense has mentally recovered from getting punched in the mouth by Georgia?

Okay, so WSU is going to take care of USC. Done. But what about Utah at UCLA? If the Bruins are still undefeated after that, Chip has something cookin'.
UCLA was my pick 2 weeks ago as one off the teams in the PAC-12 Championship game.

Cougs have Motivation, lost in the last 3 minutes to Oregon. They got no respect when they beat Cal, AP left them out of top 25. Statement Game in LA. showing Wisconsin, almost Oregon was NO FLUKE. Cougs are stalking but even the Trojans can not protect from the inevitable. GO Cats just let My Duckies Go.
Wisconsin is a horrible team. Worst Wisconsin team I have seen in past 15 years

This was not allowed at Georgia, and I'm surprised and quite disappointed at what I see. Now an argument can be made that today's athlete is different, and you have to give a little, especially with the portal always available.
The excessive celebrations with a sack, or wolfing at pass defense or trash-talking by receivers is disgusting to me.
Lanning is new at this and wants to be liked by the players...
But I don't like it. How about you?
It’s gonna cost them if it doesn’t stop.

Here is a side by side comparison of the 2 polls. The Ducks are in the same spot in both.
I can't believe USC is still so highly ranked. Click for enlarged view.

This many “blown” calls, this length of time, by trained professionals cannot be looked at as being accidental.
$$$. There is your explanation.

If OSU can be considered a common denominator, USC is going to get destroyed by Utah.
Ya. But Oregon State had more total yards, more first downs, more plays, more time of possession. They also have a terrible QB. That was the difference I think?

You did pretty good picking the Bruins over the Huskies!
Better to be lucky then good.

Tough two in a row for the Beavers, USC, then Utah on the road. Cal at WSU, Bears RB, Jaydn Ott ran for 274 yards last week against Arizona.
I’m picking Cal over WSU. Had he turned us loose the entire game we destroy WSU.
I know I am a bit bold perhaps, but I just had a 4 shot iced latte’.

I’m hoping for:
Utah over OSUUSC over ASU
Oregon over Stanford
That keeps 3 PAC teams in top 15
UCLA will come out at #24?
And we still will have 2 unbeaten.
Thats what I want and expect to happen.
And I always get what I want

Pac-12 Refs. UCLA pass play to the UW 37 with a defensive holding and a late hit out of bounds.
You take the play or the holding call. Its not that hard.
The Refs give the play to the 37. Give the 10 yards for holding and the 15 for the hit out of bounds. They spot the ball on the UW 12.
Are we ever going to hold our Refs to a higher standard, this has gone on for years!
The Washington back who hit him 2 yards out of bounds and late, should have been bounced from the game

That is a big club that most of us are in.
My hubby hopes we stay in PAC-12 or whatever it ends up being. With 8 teams in playoffs, he thinks Oregon will be in them more often than not.

We must be looking at different data. ESPN team stats show Michigan State rushing for 38 yards against Minnesota, 42 yards at Washington. MSU averaged 2.7 per carry vs Minnie, only 1.4 against the mutts.
Guess we will know soon enough.
No you are correct. I was meaning 6 yards per play including passing and rushing.
UCLA has a great back and running QB. Washington is playing in its first road game.
I look for UCLA to hang over 500 yards of offense on them. But if people were placing bets, based on my opinions, they would be homeless by now.

Not sure I agree. Washington defensive stats show them ranked 20th in rushing defense, giving up 89 yards per game, 2.6 per carry.

Pathetic Michigan State averaged 6 yards per play against the puppies, at Washington
Minnesota completely shut them down at Michigan State. Total beatdown.
Washington, in my opinion, is a pretender. UCLA is best team in California. You heard it here first?

UCLA will run for 200 plus yards be 5-0 at end of the day.
Washington cannot stop the run. Chip is aware of that I imagine.
UCLA 34-17
Thats my guess anyway.

Thats another issue I have been thinking about. Bo's longest balls (in air) haven't led his receivers. Nix would have a couple more touchdowns on the sheet if he could.
30-40 yards he is good. 50+ and the receiver is waiting around like the DMV.
Maybe because he holds the ball to long? Not because his arm is weak?
