October 21, 20231 yr While not the start I expected (not surprised WSU came to play though)….better to be ahead at half than behind. We are going to need some stops by our D in the second half. Ward is on fire. And obviously we can help ourselves with a score on drive on in Q3. We shall see. GO DUCKS! PS - Pac12 refs are terrible. It’s not even if they get a call wrong (which they do), but the bumbling around and not knowing where the ball goes or what player a penalty is on.

Humans are creatures of habit and Will Stein is no different. He keeps going back to those screen passes which now everyone and their mother has seen. The offense had better results when they started having the receivers run slant routes and attacking with mid-length passes. That allowed the running game to finally get going.

October 21, 20231 yr Moderator Tez Johnson is an interesting kid. He doesn't have elite breakaway speed needed for consistent separation from defensive backs. I don't see him making home run plays for a TD. He's more quick and squirrelly, so he can get you 5-10 yards in the middle of the field if you toss a quick pass to him.
