Bo Jackson puts Oregon Ducks among final schools in recruitment

The Oregon Ducks appear to be in the mix for one of the top running backs in the nation.

It’s not the Bo Jackson who is widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes who ever lived, playing for the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Royals, but rather 4-star RB Bo Jackson, a top-ranked recruit in the class of 2025.

4-star WR Cooper Perry to announce commitment this week; Ducks heavy favorite

There seems to be a really good chance that the Oregon Ducks pick up a notable commitment this week in the class of 2025.

On Monday, 4-star wide receiver Cooper Perry announced on social media that he will officially make his commitment later this week on Wednesday afternoon. The announcement will take place at 2 p.m. PT on Wednesday afternoon.

Perry is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 player from the state of Arizona, and the No. 27 WR in the 2025 class.  The 247Sports Composite has him ranked as the No. 251 overall player in the nation as well.

Currently, there are four predictions in the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Perry to choose the Ducks, and Oregon is the heavy favorite in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, as well, with a 95.1% chance to land him.

The Ducks currently have a commitment from 5-star WR Dallas Wilson in the class of 2025 as well.

5-star safety Trey McNutt names Oregon as a top school

With recruiting season starting to pick up, Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are making some big swings. On Monday, Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports announced that the best safety in the class of 2025, Trey McNutt, is down to eight schools, one of which is Oregon.

On3 Sports ranks McNutt as a 5-star recruit and 247 Sports rates him as a 4-star, but both agree that he is the top safety recruit in his class. At 6’0″ and 180 lbs., McNutt has a mix of strength and explosive speed that could make him a great free-roaming safety wherever he ends up

.

The Ducks are in a good spot when it comes to the recruitment of 5-star S Trey McNutt.
