Marshall Lucky No. 1 Share Posted September 29 (edited) Dad past yesterday. We’d gone to games at Autzen every year from 1980 until I left for college…and then always talked after games. For all of you that’s been here; I’m feeling ya. Edited September 29 by Marshall Lucky 1

woundedknees No. 3 Share Posted September 29 Prayers for you and your family... My Dad turned 100 in July. I know there will be a huge hole when we can't share our experiences. 1 1

PittDuck No. 5 Share Posted September 29 I feel for you dude. Losing a dad is tough. The last game I watched with my dad was in 2019 when the Ducks thumped Montana 35-3. He was 93, and we were able to have a wonderful visit while enjoying a Duck game together. He passed on about two months before COVID hit, and I have always been grateful he didn’t have to experience any of that cr@p. 1
Steven A Moderator No. 6 Share Posted September 29 So sorry to hear. I was once told, people die, love doesn't. Having lost my dad 37 years ago, I can say it's true.
Haywarduck Moderator No. 7 Share Posted September 29 My sincere condolences, and glad you have this place to safely share your pain. Once again, this shows just how unique this site is! My Dad had season tickets, section 11, since Autzen was first built. Many memories of times going to games with him. The memories never die, but sadly we all do. Keep living, and keep the love of the Ducks alive!
Annie No. 8 Share Posted September 29 So sorry for the loss of your Dad. My deepest sympathy. It's said that no one is really gone as long as someone is alive to remember them, so your Dad will live on in your heart and memories.
RichardDuck No. 9 Share Posted September 29 Condolences. The last in-person Duck game with my Dad, we somehow had tickets in the Wisconsin visitors section of Autzen (passionate but not unfriendly fans that day). Joey Harrington won the game with a late TD dive. (Also sat next to Dad at the '95 Rose Bowl). Great memories.
