Michigan is playing a style of O that Bo would love. But with BO-like Rose Bowl results.

"On the field, it will represent a battle between blue-collar physicality, steeped in tradition, opposing a new-age style of speed and excitement" Lets hope that this is actually all the Michigan team thinks the Ducks bring to the table. If it is, UM has got a huge shock-n-awe moment about to drop on their heads. Or, more likely, it's just this writer who is clueless and stuck in our Chip Kelly era (which was an awesome era... but this era, IMHO, is so much better).

Tell me that Oregon is all flash, style and excitement. Don't recall DL spending much time coaching in the B1G. Do recall his time at Alabama and then coaching Georgia's defense to a NC. So we have the SEC mentality of strength and physicality combined with that silly new age speed on the Oregon side. How can that possibly compete against a century of blue and maize? 2

The Uniforms really are the message. Ohio State actually looked sleek against Oregon. The Michigan uniforms couldn't look older. As far as the uniform saying something, I think Michigan is louder. Oregon is going with its brand. Michigan is saying, "We don't need no flashy uniforms. Oregon is all show!"
