HappyToBeADuck No. 2 Share Posted Thursday at 05:23 PM This game could easily be a trap game for OBD''s. Except its the arrogant, academically prowessed huskies. The puppies will bring their A plus game because this is their biggest game of the season. In their little confused minds they could claim anothet mythical Natty with an unlikely win over the #1 ranked Ducks It is time to end this 3 game losing skid. Take care of business, stomp the leg lifters and then begin preparation for whoever they face in tbe CCG. Go Ducks....Happy Thanksgiving to all.....

HappyToBeADuck No. 5 Share Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM Thanks Annie, that was a good read and shed some light on how Coach Lanning really feels about the huskies. Coach woody also offered some insightful comments on the up coming game. Go Ducks finish the regular season handing the huskies some well deserved payback! 1
Charles Fischer Administrator No. 6 Share Posted Thursday at 07:32 PM Lanning thinks about the Huskies before he goes to sleep, and when he wakes up? His wife calls him during the day to remind him of the importance of beating the Huskies? He's lost three straight games by only three points each, which killed the shot Oregon had with a great team in 2023 to make the Playoff? I think Dan's ready for Washington... woundedknees No. 7 Share Posted Thursday at 09:52 PM Beating the IMPOTENT Fuskies is important, every year in every sport and venue! Beat their tattered, mangy, flea bitten, and tick ridden hides into a bedraggled pile of fly bait! 1
Haywarduck Moderator No. 8 Share Posted Saturday at 02:35 PM Dan Lanning surpassed Chip Kelly as the most successful coach in wins at this point in his career. He has us as number 1 in the nation for weeks on end. In recruiting he is the best we have ever had. The guy bleeds green and yellow, but he is an utter and complete failure in one category. Dan Lanning goes to bed, wakes up, and is reminded every day about that failure because it matters more than the wins. To say this game matters, is important only minimizes how this game is paramount to how Lanning and the Ducks define success. Success only comes when you own the rivalry's and the games that really matter to a program, Lanning knows that. As a kid when you win the state championship, but lose to the cross town rival on the way, they hold that over you for the rest of your life. It is time to take care of the business close to home. It isn't just important, it is tantamount to the definition of our programs future. We, and especially Dan Lanning doesn't want any yea but's to his march to greatness. Today is the start to a new day, and the true day of Lannings career against the hated team up north. Today isn't just important and I look forward to seeing just what it is. 1 1

Desert Duck No. 10 Share Posted Saturday at 07:33 PM We really need to beat the ever lovin crap out of the Fuskies. Losing 3 straight games to them by a total of 9 points was just beyond wrong. There's just no way that OBD doesn't show up ready to play 60 minutes of focused football. 1
