EUGENE- It was a successful day for the Oregon Ducks as Wednesday marked the beginning of the Early National Signing Period. Oregon coach Dan Lanning managed to

"We like competitiveness across the board,” said Lanning.

It doesn't seem like very long ago when I sat around with my buddies over pizza and beverages discussing how a group of 2, 3, and that one 4* will maybe push for a New Years Bowl game.

It was like we were all pooling our collective wishes and sending them out into the universe to manifest success on the team.

Now, here we are at the top of the nation with MULTIPLE 5*/4* recruits and pondering if we are looking at a string of national championship runs.

I know that there are other Big10 teams that believe Oregon just drops bags of money at recruits feet (North Bowsers specifically), but the truth is that not every recruit is gonna get NIL.

What they do get is the opportunity to play for the most dynamic coach in college football at THE BEST facilities in college football, and experience a stadium crowd that will blow them away.

You can't put a price tag on that experience.  Who WOULDN'T want to be a part of that?

Important question- Does Puddles have a NIL contract?  If not we better pony up, I would hate to lose him!

Now, it is just "The Duck-formerly known as Puddles"
