I still see Sark in purple...

Front Office Sports on X: "Steve Sarkisian's first head coach job in college football was at Washington. He took an 0-12 Huskies program to four-straight winning seasons. To this day, Sarkisian has

What have I beefed about the past three years?  Texas pulls off a 50 yard pass completion because the safety was eye balling QB Ewers instead of immediately covering his half of the field.

I’ll take my million dollars now (lol-for every observation, I’m getting paid like a consultant.  Ha ha ha).

If OBD want to win today, cover your damn assignment.  Don’t look at the QB.

In this drive Georgia finally got to Ewers for a sack and forced the FG, the WR's are getting open.

That wasn't roughing, Beck was falling down!

Roughing call was total BS. Gotta beat UGA and the SEC refs. They’re protecting the shield.

Georgia's D looking pretty vulnerable on the back end.

A hard hit, no penalty, amazing!

6-3. Hey Sankey, this has just been incredible football so far!

Sloppy first half by Texas, not sure what Georgia is doing but if you can't catch the ball I'm not sure what you do.

Sark not happy, "Maybe they'll start calling holding on them too!"

“coach, 8 penalties in the first half, what will you do to clean that up in the second half?”

Sark, “uh, well hopefully they will start to penalize them in the second half.”

Brilliant plan Coach, tell your team that is how you plan to maintain your 3 point lead.  That will fire them up.

Has anyone seen anything from either of the top two SEC teams that would cause any worry if they lasted long enough to play OBD?

Sark looking a little stressed on that sideline.

Yikes, neither teams' olines are offering much protection for their QBs.  Georgia's in a bad spot with Beck out.

Oof, Georgia might have lost their best punter 😬

Great sack by the Georgia defense!

Georgia is definitely a second half team.

Important for Texas that they kept Georgia out of the end zone and forced the FG.

True, especially since Texas finally scored a TD.

Texas ties it up.

I don't know if Georgia can get enough offense going with Beck out.  That Stockton kid is playing gutsy but you can tell he's limited due to his experience.

Georgia better want this more.

Ooooh did Kirby get a text from DL to run that trick play??  lol

I was about to say I liked Georgia starting to attack the edges to get yards but then that WR ran it right back into the teeth of the Texas dline instead of going outside.  Oy 🤦‍♂️

16-13 Georgia, 4:32 left.

Ooooh that INT may have ended the game!

INT Georgia!

Georgia catches their 2nd INT of the night. Looks like they'll probably win this game.

Neither have been impressive though. This makes me feel a lot better about the Ducks chance at a Natty.

I certainly don’t want Ewers in Eugene, when he enters the portal. He’s not good in big games.

They said his average yards thru the air entering this game is 6.5. Hard pass

Yikes the young QB threw it right back to Texas.  Big problem.

This game is a turnover fest. Neither team looks impressive, and Georgia is getting really badly banged up.

How many OT's with how many turnovers are we thinking? 🤣

Wow, you’ve really got to hand it to the SEC for their elite defensive prowess. I mean, who wouldn’t want to watch a slugfest where teams routinely light up the scoreboard for 40, 50, even 60 points? Clearly, these defenses are just letting their offenses 'shine,' right?

Let’s not pretend it’s a total lack of discipline, blown coverages, or complete aversion to tackling. Nope, it's all part of the strategy, y’all. You can almost hear the defensive coordinators saying, 'Let’s make this game exciting by making sure our secondary plays flag football while the D-line takes an extended coffee break.' Pure brilliance.

And don’t get me started on how our beloved Ducks could never compete with such iron-clad defenses. You know, because Oregon’s lightning-fast offense would obviously crumble against all that SEC grit. Imagine Dillon Gabriel throwing against cornerbacks who only occasionally remember their assignment or Jordan James trying to run through linebackers who take 'arm tackling' to the next level.

Yep, no chance at all. We should have just stayed in the Pac-12—oops, I mean the Pac-2—because there’s no way our 'soft' West Coast squad could keep up with the 'unparalleled dominance' of SEC defenses that seem to peak in the highlights of...other teams scoring.

I guess good game Georgia. I know we have a couple awesome Georgia fans that are in the forum regularly... but man, oh man was that underwhelming.

Much preferable to a Texas win, but only because I have a co-worker who is a Texas Zealot.

Congrats to Georgia on the win, ugly as it was. Texas might get matched up with Ohio St in the 1st round, that'll be another ugly game.
