Fun Listen: USC Should Panic

Recommended Posts

I am a sucker for listening/watching to anyone talk about USC falling apart.

Also some nice talk about our Man Dan in there as a what if USC hired Lanning instead of Riley. Which never would have happened in a million years!

Because...

FISHDUCK.COM

It has been absolutely delightful as Duck fans to watch USC’s problems, not only this year but over more than...

Enjoy!

It's completely shallow to revel in the shortcomings and mishaps of other teams, players, coaches...but it's so EASY!

i don't know, could Dan have overcome the Reggie Bush penalties any better than Riley?

Cuz I'm pretty sure the sc fan base thinks that is the problem.

Fun read from Trojans Wire about how USC is still haunted by Josh Conerly's decision to play for Oregon.

Quote

Josh Conerly paired with Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel has helped the Ducks consistently defeat Big Ten opponents. Oregon handled Michigan on the road this year. USC did not. Oregon wiped out Maryland this year. USC did not. Conerly has excelled against the same Big Ten opponents which defeated USC. Imagine if Conerly was a Trojan this year, not a Duck. The impact he would have made is self-evident.

As Josh Henson leaves USC, his failures primarily stem from losing to Oregon for Josh Conerly. That recruiting loss proved to be hugely pivotal for the Trojans.

Interesting!  So, Conerly would have played defense also?  'Cause I seem to recall most USC fans blaming Alex Grinch for USC's issues.  Now it's losing Josh Conerly.

With that logic, we might as well say that when they lost DAT, it was over!

Actually, you may have a point.

Depression as well as Duck Derangement 😪 Syndrome  can be difficult to shake.

What’s most laughable is that they write about coaches who do not come up to Trojan standards!  Standards from when?  The 1980’s?

I don’t know how USC can afford to keep Coach Riley. USC is a sinking ship.

Because they can't afford to fire him.

And that's the best part.
