This would be a massive win, but a loss doesn’t really hurt you.  Hopefully, they can pull this out.  Need to get that first round bye for the BIG tourney.

It was 17-14 Oregon, Wisconsin is on a 20-2 run.

38-26 Wisconsin at halftime, 26 of the Badgers' point are in the paint. If teams never attempted 3's against this Ducks team, they'd win for sure.

Pretty typical for this team, as soon as they get behind they just start jacking threes right and left without moving the ball without throwing it inside or going to the rim. Evans had good energy down low, feed him already. If Oregon doesn't take another 3 this game they have a chance to win.

This is hard to watch.  Oregon is getting murdered inside.

Bittle had ZERO rebounds and three fouls the first half?    ZERO? As Randy Moss would say, “Com’on man!”

Angel has no points, no rebounds and a turnover.  Ouch.

Bamba shooting around his typical game average at 1-4 from the floor, but at least he plays defense, I guess?

Once again as a team, poor play on defense, losing responsibility, out of position, and giving up 50%+ shooting.

On offense, settling for contested jumpers.

The one bright spot is Evans.  He missed a couple shots, but had 5 rebounds, an offensive rebound, a huge block and a couple of nice takes and buckets.  Gotta get that kid into the starting lineup and get him 24+ minutes a game.

Tracey playing well too.   I would leave him on the floor right now.

I can’t believe this is a 12 point game right now.  Should be 20+, but Wisconsin can’t buy a three.

Hopefully, Dana turns some tables and chairs over in the locker room at half and they decide to defend a little bit in the second half.

So much better in the second half. Win or lose, nice job to hang in there.

After Alabama and TexA&M, this has to be the best quad-1 win for OBD. If they can hold this type of effort thru the rest of the season and the B1G tournament, a 5 seed is not out of the question.

But that's a B1G if

Steady improvement from Kwame Evans is wonderful to see. He is as big an x-Factor for the postseason as the Ducks have. I have had my doubts whether Evans will finish his career as a Duck but when I see him fit into the rotation more and more it gives me hope.

Tied to Evans in my mind is Mookie Cook. I look for an explanation in this forum about Mookie Cook his lack of playing time. It confuses me. Today I got to see him used effectively to help apply full court pressure. I would love to see someone post an article or comment to give some insight on Mookie's progress or lack of same.

Great win today! Go Ducks!

So that's what I get for giving up and going plowing snow. Granted The snow is not going to plow itself but it looks like I missed a really good half of basketball. Go Ducks!

Let me guess they stopped jacking threes and started going down low with the ball.

Evans has been a real bright spot the last month or so.   He had a lot of Angel’s typical

minutes in the second half today and I think the team played better with him on the floor.

IMO, Oregon needs Evans to continue to play like that and take that spot on the floor in order to make a run in March.

If Angel is not making 6-8 shots a game or consistently getting to the line, then he is not adding a ton of value when in the game.

I think an announcer said it best about a week ago. Angel is not a great athlete, but he is a very good basketball player.  That sums it up perfectly, and is the reason he struggles on the defensive end.

And they played defense like they wanted to win in the second half.   They forced 17 turnovers and shut down their scorers. If they gave that kind of effort on the defensive end every game, they might be in the top 4 in the conference standings.  Let’s hope they figure it out.

Down 17 at one point?  Damn...glad I recorded it and can watch without trepidation...great win.

Is this the game that turns this season around?

Evans wants his starting position back. When he comes out with energy he's tough to stop on both sides of the floor and Angel can be good but I haven't seen much energy from him lately.

When Evan stays in his Lane and isn't out shooting 3's he can be more dynamic in the rebounding game. For that matter, there's only three people on this team. I want to see shooting threes Shelstad, Bartholomew, and Tracy everyone else is better off rebounding.

Bittle too. He's more effective if the other team has to take his the seriously and he's a decent shot

Trailing by as many as 17 points Oregon upsets No. 11 Wisconsin on the road in overtime

The Oregon Ducks fought their way back to force overtime and eventually beat the No. 11 ranked Wisconsin Badgers in overtime.

Angel: 19 minutes, 0 points, 1 rebound, 0 assists, 1 turnover, 1 foul, and this wasn't a particularly bad game for him this season. Evans needs to get more PT, if it's at Angel's expense, all the better, this game, and all season, Angel is better on offense than defense.

It wasn't a miracle that they won, and not to take away from the win; as great as it was, it just makes me shake thinking about the losses. Oregon really just played harder in the second half than in the first. Is this the Altman turnaround? Three games left. USC, Indiana @ home, finish @ Washington.

Who in the world are these guys? They're killin' me.

Just when I thought they were going to suck their way through the end of the season, they roll off 4 straight wins... with a road win OT game against the #11 team in the nation.

It must be mid-to-late February... heading into March.
