I am so delighted with what I see, as the blow people off the LOS, they pull and drive them out, and then they block incredibly in open space. The perimeter blocking by Pregnon, and Harkey was amazing.

Dante is going to get spoiled with sitting in the pocket so long,...what a luxury thus far! (And the way Will Stein set up the offense...it makes it fun for ol' offensive linemen)

Harkey has been an absolute joy to watch!! Might be my favorite OLineman so far.

Just got home from the he game and haven’t seen replays but on I think the last twenty something yard TD run, I saw a lineman blasting his man back through the end zone while leading the runner. I could only think wowza! Yes this OL looks special.

That was Harkey, and I thought the word on him was that he was a good run-blocker, but did not have quick feet for pass-protection.

I was glad to see Pregnon back in the line up, his knee getting rolled on last game looked worse than it was apparently. After last season's start I'm a little paranoid about the health and depth of the interior OL nowadays 😝

This may be our year to win the Joe Moore Award, not to mention the Rimington award.

BTW Pickard is still our #2 center, but he seems better this year.

Fundamentals are off the charts so far this season... and the best part? There's still room to grow!! I'm super excited to see the progress of this hungry team! 🦆

Side note, why am I seeing some posts in super large text? Is it my side?

We each can do that with the dashboard at the top of each post. The "T" with the up/down arrows, when clicked on gives you the option to increase the size of text that you have highlighted. It helps until we get the font size changed...

It’s not just the OL blocking great. The skill position players are getting after it as well.

The no. 2 OL looked really good. I think there is a lot for confidence in Pickard as the backup.

Last year he got Doug Brennered because the coaches threw him in at center and put him in a situation he wasn't ready for.

Last year the coaches were clearly scrambling to out an offensive line together and they found a combo. This year they have layers of options.

I also think it doesn't hurt to have a right handed quarterback again and having a normal blind side. At the start of last season the right side was the weak side and it was made worse by being Gabriel's blind side.

He just didn't always see the pressures coming.

Laloulu was also on the 2 looking to block someone.

Great post Doc. Blocking seems to be more about passion than responsibility for this team.

The amount of open space we saw so often on end arounds and crossing routes resulted from DLs and LBs being unable to react quickly to the ball because of being road graded into back stepping.

In addition to the Joe Moore award, I’d add the Dante Moore trophy for our OL.

Since Lanning took over we have seen some great offensive line play.

This year it feels like this may just be the best offensive line yet. And doesn't this feel like the offensive line that we were promised under Cristobal? Massive and physical...
