On this week’s Talkin’ Ducks, George Wrightster said that USC’s collective is offering DT Tomuhini Topui $2M+ in NIL. For that much, George claimed that Oregon could pay both Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti.

They also are reportedly offering TE Mark Bowman a record $8-10M deal over 3-4 years.

Let’s hope it ends the same way for U$C and Riley as it did for Texas ATM and Jimbo.

It's about time the Trojans stopped crying, whining and blaming and put their money into the players they want in the program

Any nimrods, including the trojans can see the success Texas Tech has had on their investment.

As a Duck fan i would not be concerned until they have a high quality coach in place. However, the financial investment in players will continue to expand until there are the haves and haves not.

Thankfully, OBD's have both great resources and great coaching.

How much did Beavis pay their great QB this year? UCLA?

You still have to be good at it…it’s just a different level of strategy.

And it’s ridiculous imo, USC has never struggled to attract talent. They have a coach and culture that doesn’t care about defense, that won’t change.

USC locked down three Mater Dai commits back in April and May, with some reported significant NIL assets (Bowman, Topui, and Scott).

Mater Dai had what for them was a bit of a down year. I of course don't follow the Trinity League that closely but the long time mod at the USC site Wildwest Sports (Java) does. His recent comments on the three?

"I said this team is overrated. They are undisciplined. They are ghetto.  And almost all the players that USC is getting I truly do not like... going 7-3 or 8-3 with that talent is embarrassing. Mater DEI should fire (head coach) Lara and USC should pull the scholarships of Bowman, Scott and the fat kid (Tupui) in the middle. Or let Bowman redshirt."

Who knows of course, but found it interesting given the fanfare going along with USC's class this year. 🤷‍♂️

Don't give it a second of worry. USC is a mob of thugs who have no discipline, no coaching and will face a schedule next year that will make reality obvious even to them. Their administration is so screwed up, Riley will probably stay for another 5 years.
