We invite you to always explore the “News” on the menu bar in the header.

When you click on the word “News,” you will see an index of multiple links to sports news sites for your enjoyment!

From now on, except for a very few circumstances, our threads will be just one page. Advertising only appears on the first page and we want to make as much money as possible for the site.  The bonus in doing this is that it will be easier for everyone to move around the thread.

This Thread is for News Articles ONLY.  You can always start a new thread with any of these articles for discussion

I'd add that we'd need rain. I don't think JMU can "stop" Dante Moore even in a hurricane, but rain like you saw in Iowa would help neutralize some of the enormous advantage the Ducks have against a JMU secondary that relies on a strong pass rush consistently getting home.

This article in the NYT via The Athletic might be worthy of its own topic line as it compares the money out-money in economics of all 12 CFP teams, with an emphasis on Oregon v JMU. It gives a sobering look at the money involved to get a team to the top of FBS conferences, but also debunks the accusations that Oregon simply buys it's players when compared to other winning programs.
