Dakorien Moore, Jalen Lott and Finney Jr. all under 11 seconds in 100 meters.

The sports 'press' occasionally astounds with it's lack of thoroughness and presumably AI driven writing. The players listed in the article are fast and football quick. We've seen what DAK, Finney and DHill2 can do. Lott should be a beast. But Hill's 11+ time is not track fast.

For heaven sake, how do you leave Bair and his 10.15 sec 100 meter time (as a HS junior, no less) off the list? You line him up with the other four, and he smokes them by several meters.

Big miss by the writer....(Only the fastest player!)

Disappointing article. Our fastest guys are all basically 11 second sprinters (except Moore)?

I hope they missed more than just Gatlin. What about LB Jackson? There has to be others missed.

After I found those times, I was still sort of curious generally how they might stack up, so I dug a bit into Georgia and Ohio State. I didn't add a post as I am not that familiar with those rosters (and didn't want to spend forever on it) and figured I would probably have a bad omit or two (that would drive a Bulldog or Buckeye fan crazy); but, it was kind of interesting to have something to compare it to. Don't quote me on any of it though 🙂.

Published 100m I could find.

Now that we know there is speed what will the coaches do with it? My pet peeves the last two years have included disappointing lack of exploiting speed advantages.

Stewart, Moore, Johnson and Sadiq among others. We have the dudes so use them.
