He never developed a great defense at OU and although he made it to the PO he got creamed

Canzano’s pretty astute on this one. The question remains whether the Trojan horse is ready to ride for a hit the ground running type like Riley, or requires  the disciplined retraining of a Fickell.

I hate it when I agree with Canzano.

Canzano was also certain that Mario would bring a national title to Oregon within, I believe, 4 year's of his being hired?

I'm not sure he would have predicted winning the championship. But getting to the Playoff?
