My Wish: What is Yours?

Recommended Posts

My wish is that Georgia beats Alabama Monday in Indy! I am the underdog and always hope that the underdog wins as doesn't matter if you pray for it to happen the All Mighty doesn't care about the sports field period. So even though I wish it was Oregon against SC and the Ducks won it or even anybody else besides these two teams I have a Coach soon to be HC coming our way Tuesday.

So I wish Mr Lanning complete success and Hope that he and Georgia beat Saban because he doesn't deserve another 'bought Championship. Thought's because I know all you on here more than likely feel the same.

I always root against Bama. Looking forward to see if Coach Lsnning can make the necessary adjustments to shut down the Bama offense.  How does he handle a rematch opportunity?

Not to dwell on the past but our previous staff did not make or could not make the necessary adjustments in the critical Utah rematch.

With good coaching, returning talent and transfer portal their is a very good chance Utah and Oregon play twice next year.

How Coach Lanning handles this high level opportunity is a snapshot for next year's potential rematch games.

Even though I despise Bama and it's unrivaled success I admire Coach Sabans coaching performance. Player and Coach development is unrivaled anywhere. My wish and hope is that Coach Lanning can bring this results to Oregon.

Georgia historically is a 2 to 4 loss team year in and year out. They went undefeated 4 times in their 100+ year history winning 2 NC's. The last one in 1980, 40+ years ago.

Georgia isn't exactly a storied powerhouse in college football. They have been a very competitive team throughout their history though.  I wouldn't consider them a true blue blood but they are on the cusp for sure.

I will root for a UGA over a Bama, tOSU, U$C team every time. Lanning coaches the GA defense so more so this year. SEC or not, Lanning or not, I hope they humiliate Bama.

Have a hard time rooting for Alabama. Just say a young man from the high school where I grew up was not treated well by people in the program. Saban was not the problem, fans/supporters of the program were. So, I'd be all in for Georgia anyway, with Lanning coming to Oregon, even more! Go Bull Dogs, then welcome to Coach Lanning and a new exciting era for Oregon football.

I grew up when The U was the dominant team. I appreciate that Saban can keep Bama just as dominant without resorting to the type of swashbuckling hijinx that Miami was famous for.

I have really come to appreciate what Saban has done at Alabama. He gets the players, but he's also adjusted his X's and O's, and stayed out of the way, except for a big move like putting Tua in at halftime, of his OC's. But what is most impressive is the complete lack of complacency at Alabama, It's championship or bust every year in Tuscaloosa
