Take Your Shot: Super Bowl Prediction Contest!

Recommended Posts

Hello my FishDuck Friends,

For those who want to play...give me the items below and let's take a shot at it for fun!  Since the Rams defense is being featured often...let's structure the tiebreakers in that direction.  If you do not have all the tiebreaker items...the entry does not count.

1. Game score and winner?

2. How many passing yards the Bengals have?

3. How many rushing yards the Bengals have?

4. How many turnovers for the Bengals?

5. How many sacks do the Bengals suffer from the Rams?

Mr. FishDuck: Rams, 38-31, 294, 118, 3, 6

No. 58 Justin Hollins for the Rams

I'm sticking with Joe "Cool" Burrow. The Bengals shouldn't have won any of their Playoff games based on match-ups, yet here they are. Bengals down, 35-34, 3rd and 8, 2 minute warning. Come back, get 12 yards, Work the clock, down the field, another first down, oh, oh a sack on 3rd down. Line up for a 48 yard field goal, :03 on the clock, the ball is snapped, the clock is 0:00, it's good. Bengals win!!!

Bengals 37-35 246, 180, 2, 4

Rams, 28 - 24, 300, 70, 1, 4

Where is the coin flip prediction?

Going to be hot. 85 degrees at kick off. The stadium is partially domed but not air conditioned.

I want Joe B to score the trifecta but I just don't see the Bengals OL being able to hold off the excellent Rams DL?

Rams 32-21, 334 passing, 94 rushing, 2 TOs, 5 sacks.  Rams' strength is the D-line; Bengals' weakness is the O-line.

Despite the Rams being favored by 4.5 points, we need to keep in mind "the Lion factor." Matt Stafford has not been sufficiently untainted of his 12 years of Lion-ness, and it will rear its ugly mane on Sunday. A dozen years builds up a lot of taint!

Bengals win 26-19. 371 yards passing. 86 yards rushing. 2 turnovers. 4 sacks.

Bengals 31-28. 285 passing, 105 rushing, 1 turnover, 2 sacks.

Bengals down 21-14 at half, once again make great half time adjustments and come back for the win. Rams turn it over 3 times. Burrow pressured, but only sacked twice and able to get the ball down field often enough to get the win.

Living in Southwest Ohio now gotta go for the Bengals.

There are 18 Pac-12 guys on the Super Bowl rosters. 10 on the Rams. 8 on the Bengals. As Mister FishDuck has pointed out, 2 Ducks play for the Rams.

About to have some folks over for a SB party. One of the guests went to Pitt. 2 Pitt guys in the game; 1 star, Aaron Donald. A 3* who was offered late by Pitt. You never know who will rise to the top of the NFL. In addition to Donald, how about Cooper Kupp?
