Having lived in LA in the 60s, I have to say that the Coliseum and the Natural History museum next to it are things of beauty - and that's what makes every football victory down there all the more special.

Number 12 on my list :  L.A. traffic/The 405 (tie), and Number 11: The Dodgers (their demented fans are USC carbon copies)

I have a trading-card set coming out with all 867,277 reasons to root against USC. Be sure to collect them all.

I agree that eternity isn't long enough, and the fact that you reminded of it is going to make me lose sleep tonight.

I’ve made two trips down to the Coliseum—both Duck victories, of course, and some people question why I would venture onto a campus that churns out such notorious felons and cheaters, and whose fans are about as friendly as a pack of dingoes, but my escort of Navy Seals and I had no problems at all.

My only quibble with this strategy is that our pitchers didn't hit a third.

The arrogant, pompous, and surly John McKay could occupy several spots on the top-10 list for any number of egregious transgressions:

McKay's teams had the audacity to defeat Our Beloved Ducks 6 out of 8 times.

McKay was the creator of "student body right," unquestionably the most obnoxious formation in football history.

McKay was the coach of Orenthal James Simpson, the most loathsome cretin to ever set foot on the gridiron.

John McKay remains a wonderful addition to the top 10 reasons to root against USC for this eternity and the next.
