ICamel No. 1 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Oregon softball All-American pitcher Brooke Yanez enters transfer portal WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Brooke Yanez, who redshirted due to a season-ending shoulder injury this season, entered the transfer portal on Tuesday, Sounds like she is just testing the water? Earlier this year, "Yanez announced she was 'most definitely' going to return to Oregon in 2023."

Grandpa Duck No. 4 Share Posted June 14, 2022 At some point Rob Mullens needs to realize that the softball coach simply does not have the right players. People who complain about the transfer portal need to consider that very good players also transfer in . . . to other schools. We need to have a coaching staff the draws those transfers in, and also that recruits the type of players who play the game with power and speed. There has to be a reason Oregon softball looses a player like Yanez. With this loss we have no pitcher who can compete in the PAC-12. In softball, the pitcher is more important than the QB in football and the point guard in basketball.

EOFan No. 6 Share Posted June 14, 2022 Hi Brooke, I hope that you read the posts on the fishduck forum! Glad you are exercising your right to put your name in the portal. Please don't wait to long to remove your name from said portal. You and Stevie can lead this team to the Women's College World Series! Next year is going to be a unbelievable year to be a Duck. mrspenney No. 9 Share Posted June 28, 2022 Oregon softball needs to pickup at least 1 if not 2 new excellent pitchers. I don't care how well they can hit, but if you don't have the pitching it will be a long year and a coach could be in trouble.
