Drex Heikes No. 1 Share Posted September 25, 2022 The devastating pick 6 in 2nd quarter was tipped at line by a Wazzou defender, or so says a friend who watched slo-mo replay over and over. It was subtle. Changed the pass slightly, making it hang a little longer. My friend says only angle showing it is from pylon looking back toward Nix. Can others of you look? I don't think there's any question that it was definitely a tip. If you watch the replay in slow motion, it is relatively easy to see. It slowed and changed the trajectory of the ball. Even with the pic, Nix had nothing less than an absolutely stellar day. Edited September 25, 2022 by Desert Duck

DuckIt No. 4 Share Posted September 25, 2022 He still probably shouldn't have threw that ball. He stared down his receiver on that play.

I think it's likely that the pass on that play would have been intercepted anyway, even without the tip. David Marsh No. 7 Share Posted September 25, 2022 It was tipped but it was also a super predictable play. If it wasn't tipped I don't think it would have been a successful play anyways.

That pass was thrown too hard for him to pick it off. First thing I thought when he threw it was it was too high and behind the RB. That was a completion otherwise ( still didn't like the play call though). Just my thought. In addition , this game would have been over in the first quarter if we didn't waste time and instead made WSU's corners charcoal black from getting burnt so often. We wasted way too much time trying to dominate them instead then instead of making mincemeat out their secondary. Vandownbytheriverduck No. 9 Share Posted September 25, 2022 Ball needed more arc from the start. Have to put that ball where only one person gets it or it drops on the ground. more arc and it doesn’t get tipped or picked. Damn nice recovery from what might destroy a lesser QB. Gritty good victory
