·Also big credit to @IAMKLEMM - don’t forget the amazing job he’s done with this offensive line

8 games in, Oregon's offensive line has allowed just 1 sack. Clearly the least amount of sacks allowed by one team this year. Credit to Kenny Dillingham. Credit to Bo Nix. BIG credit to the 5 (sometimes 6) up front.

Keanu Williams filling in nicely for injured Taki Taimani

Williams may have had meager results in the box score (finishing with a single pass breakup),

but was regularly in the backfield bothering Cal quarterback Jack Plummer.

"I think he did some really good things. He's continued to grow as a player and when his number was called,

he was ready to go out there and play at a high level," Oregon head coach Dan Lanning said of Williams on Monday.

Buffs Gear Up For Visit From No. 8 Oregon

The Buffs meanwhile, have yielded at least 38 points in seven of their eight games.

But Sanford believes CU's defense can hang with Oregon — if the Buffs execute like they did in their win over Cal

and continue to play with the passion they have exhibited over the last few weeks.

What would be nice to see is the Ducks get up big early, say 30 pts by the end of the 3rd.  Then It'd be nice to see Thompson come in and get a whole qtr to see if he's half as good as the Arizona red-shirt Frosh CAL has on their team.  That kid (Kai Milner) looks like a future star and he came out of school as a 4-star - unlike Thompson's 5.

Oregon could very well be at 45+ by end of 3rd quarter. I wouldn't let off the gas till I had a 30+ point lead or start of 4Q, which ever comes later.

In the high mountain air of Boulder - something tells me this game will be closer than the oddsmakers think.  I'd even be cautious taking the pts (-30.5) on this one.  Three starters (at least) out for the game and on the road.  I'd hazard a guess of 45-20 and be very happy to see that.

With Chase Cota's availability up in the air, Oregon's WR depth gets chance to shine

it looks like the Ducks are going to have to prepare for a game without their No. 2 WR on the roster.

All that means is that the guys lower on the depth chart will have a chance to shine with the greater opportunity.

Injury Report: Updated news for Oregon Ducks ahead of game at Colorado

the Ducks might be without a few of their more important guys this weekend. A few starters were missing from both days

of practice sessions that were open to media members this week, and others are not quite ready to return, as of yet.

With a tough stretch of games ahead, kicked off by Washington coming to Autzen Stadium on Nov. 12, Oregon wants to make

sure it comes home as healthy as possible, and of course, with a win, before the rival Huskies come calling

CU Buffs may have an advantage over Oregon in this area

We went behind enemy lines this week with Ducks Wire writer Don Smalley and he mentioned

that Oregon’s kick coverage hasn’t been stellar this season.

With Nikko Reed averaging 27.8 yards per kick return and Jordyn Tyson averaging 32.8 yards on his four punt returns,

including an 88-yard touchdown last week, the Buffs could excel in this area against Oregon.

Oregon Ducks averaging fewest yards on punt returns since 1993, giving lead receiver Troy Franklin reps in practice

Oregon is testing out new options in the return game, including leading receiver Troy Franklin.

With Cota missing practice this week due to an injury suffered in last week’s game at Cal and the departure of

Seven McGee, who was Oregon’s primary kickoff returner, the Ducks had Franklin join the return group.
