Remaining LOI Targets on Thursday for Oregon...

Recommended Posts

We are waiting for LOIs from:

Peyton Bowen, 5-Star Safety  (This one is "iffy")

George Silvia, JC OL, (the best in JCs) and is fixing a paperwork snarl.

Oregon's Targets Remaining:

Do check my article about the record for a first-year coach recruiting, as all

we need is ONE more 4/5-Star player to sign and Lanning breaks Cristobal's record!

Exactly what the Oregonian reports, except they reported before Blake Purchase signed.

Now Hopkins at ScoopDuck has officially logged a flip to Oklahoma for Peyton Bowen.  But we have quite a few others to pursue yet!  (See first post in this thread)

David Hicks would be the icing on an already very rich cake for Dan Lanning.  In fact, it would begin to resemble an "embarrassment of riches" for the Oregon Defensive side of the ball.  Which is fine, we all like some icing, esp. if it covers a delicious cake.

I’d predict that Porter and Pleasant will round out this class.  Pleasant should almost be an automatic due to  his outstanding ability as a sprinter and Oregon’s reputation in track and field along with the fact that one of the best sprint coaches in the country is on the Oregon staff.

Any more info on Silva and how long it supposed to take to tidy it up?

27 recruits and working on 31. Wow. With the portal over half the team will be Lanning's guys. Thats a huge turnover in say 18 months.
