  3. Since Lanning took over we have seen some great offensive line play. This year it feels like this may just be the best offensive line yet. And doesn't this feel like the offensive line that we were promised under Cristobal? Massive and physical...
  4. How Oregon's offense stacks up statistically through two gamesThe regular season is far from over, but it's never too early to take stock of Oregon's standing across the country. Today, we'll take a look at where the team stands in numerous offensive statistical categories and where the team's top players do as well. I've compiled a breakdown of the team's national and conference standing to help illustrate strengths and weaknesses. Here's a breakdown on how the Oregon offense ranks nationally in individual and team statistics.
  5. There is no doubt that OBD's have performed at a high level in these first 2 games of the young 2025 season. And i dont want to give the impression that I am not excited about the start. Very, very encouraging! However these performances, stats and results were accompmished against who? How many players on MSU and OK State will be playing on Sundays? I agree with the posters above who feel its to early to come to conclusions and want to wait until after the PSU White Out Game. Can the O defense shut down the powerhouse PSU running game, forcing their QB to make plays? Can the Duck O Line protect DM against a defense littered with future NFL players? Can DM make the adustments at the line of scrimmage or make great throws under pressure? Only time will tell. I think they can...... One thing is for sure, PSU will have their hands full with every aspect of this 2025 Duck team. It should be a great game..... GO DUCKS!
  6. Haha... love the response. I meant no disrespect, just curious. I have no trouble reading the normal text, so I guess that's why it stands out to me. Cheers!
  7. AP Top 25: Oregon moves up 2 spots to No. 4 after blowout win over Oklahoma State The SEC has 11 teams in the top 25 while the Big Ten has three of the top four teams in the rankingsAP Poll Top 25: College Football Rankings see shake up after Week 2
  8. He surprised me. Next to Bucky, I thought he had the best quick burst, but no idea how to time its use against a defender. My guess is Samples had him doing situation work on that during the off-season.
  9. It's OK. I often hear this question from the Ladies.😁 Hit the T-Bar above, and your Font is your command.
  10. Ducks emerging as a big story nationally, set for Big Noon KickoffThe national media is waking up to Oregon, and realizing just how much better this team is than those cautious/question mark preseason evaluations. Big Noon kickoff will be at Northwestern for the Oregon-Northwestern game, and they're not there to talk about the Wildcats. 11. The amount of open space we saw so often on end arounds and crossing routes resulted from DLs and LBs being unable to react quickly to the ball because of being road graded into back stepping. In addition to the Joe Moore award, I’d add the Dante Moore trophy for our OL.
  12. Because he can. It is easier for us old-farts to read, and everyone has the option up in the dashboard at the top of the post when you are creating it. This font size for a post is crazy-small, and will ultimately be increased.
  13. Whew! This was close, as we won by a 66 point margin, (69-3) and two tied as the closest with a 50 point margin. Solar had 63-13, and VegasDuck had 59-9, so we had to go to the tiebreakers. The official stats show a tie between them with turnovers, but VegasDuck was closer with the sacks, and with the passing yards, thus VegasDuck is this week's winner! This is great fun, and it is nice to see so many get involved. Congrats to VegasDuck, and sorry to Solar, but his time is coming, I'm sure. Congrats!
  14. Great post Doc. Blocking seems to be more about passion than responsibility for this team.
  15. Wowsa. Our Beloved Ducks moved up to No. 4 in this new AP Poll, thus the top four currently are three Big-10 schools? Whew! You will note some improvements, as the background photo that those on pad and desktop can see...is finally a photo from this year. The new platform did not transfer the prior customizations, and thus the web developer had to write new code, and it took a while. You will note that the posts are now numbered as before, and we need that for our Duck News Hunters, and our Moderators. More improvements are coming! (As long as the money holds out!) Peyton Woodard's Pick-Six!

  18. Why is your font so big all the time? Asking for a friend. 😄
  19. Laloulu was also on the 2 looking to block someone.
  20. That team with no resources opened Uncle Phil's eyes and pocketbook based upon what could be. Thank you, Rick Brooks and all the little and no stars that made it happen!!
  21. Early in the college football season, huge swings often occur in the Heisman Trophy odds. The favorite to win the award throughout the entire offseason, Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning, dropped significantly after a disappointing season-opener against a stout Ohio State defense. Now, after a five-touchdown performance against San Jose State, Manning is back in the fifth spot — right behind Oregon Ducks quarterback Dante Moore. Oregon QB Dante Moore creeps into top 5 of Heisman odds after impressive Week 2 outing
  22. Nuck, Nuck, Nuck! 😁 Saturday TraditionOregon tried to 'break the scoreboard' vs. Oklahoma State...Oregon took Mike Gundy's comments throughout the week as disrespect. The Ducks tried to break the scoreboard on Saturday because of it.
  23. Oregon stays put in the US LBM Coaches poll after big win over Oklahoma StateOne might have thought the Oregon Ducks football team would have moved up a little in the US LBM Coaches poll after their big 69-3 win over Oklahoma State. No dice. The Ducks stayed at No. 5 in the poll, along with everyone else in the Top 5. But the Big Ten is dominating the poll with Ohio State (No. 1), Penn State (No. 2) and Oregon leading the way. Georgia at No. 3 and LSU at No. 4 round out the Top 5 despite mediocre wins over smaller schools. US LBM Coaches poll
  24. Five takeaways from CFB Week 2: OU is back, Oregon is dangerous and Billy Napier is feeling the heatOregon looks better than ever Maybe the most important big-picture takeaway is that Oregon looks even better than last season. The Ducks beat Oklahoma State like it was a D2 program (69-3). Oregon passed for 319 yards and ran for 312. Each of its top two backs had runs that covered more than 50 yards. Dante Moore was flawless, completing 16 of 21 passes for 266 yards and three touchdowns. The defense dominated, too, with two sacks, two takeaways and just 211 yards allowed. The rest of college football better watch out because the Oregon Ducks are for real. Five takeaways from CFB Week 2
  25. I think Beavis has an outside shot at 0-12 now. They’re almost certainly starting 0-6 imo, 1-5 at best. The last 6 games on their schedule are pathetic, but so are they. WSU looks like the better team, and they play twice. Some of those random teams are going to have better athletes than they think. I’d put their ceiling at 4-8 at this point.
