  3. How far does Bama jump if they beat UGA? That’s going to be the big game that could determine Oregon’s seeding.
  4. I bet it's a wild time on that campus right now. New Orleans is crazy enough. Imagine if Tulane and Oregon met in the Sugar Bowl.
  5. You know, you either accept a defeat and build off of it, or let it ruin you. We know what that’s all about. Guess Penn State doesn’t.
  6. Today
  7. Absolutely - #3 is probably as good as #1, plus we already have a great cast. I don't blame Henry for worrying about all the competition here. Smart of him to sign with tosu.
  8. I will be too, but because one of my daughters is a Tulanian. :) But that would be great for Ducks to host the Green Waves in the first round. Roll Waves!
  9. The more important issue than where one player ends up signing is just that: what effect has this NIL hostage drama had on the minds of high school athletes, their coaches, parents and agents? How will they now perceive their bargaining position in light of the way Henry’s recruitment played out? Unless something concrete is enacted to modify the effect NIL is proving to have on the game, we can safely assume CFB will transition from being looked upon as merely NFL Jr to being a charter member.
  10. Lol this guy needs to focus on the man in the mirror.
  11. If it's Tulane, I'm going to be conflicted. I want to see Oregon win a title this year. But coach Sumrall winning a playoff game would help his credibility with big time boosters, and recruits. My hope is Duke wins the ACC, and Oregon gets James Madison. That way, I can see Oregon demolish Billy Napier's new team.
  12. Something wrong??? It starts at the top, and I think it's name is something like 'Batty' Kraft...
  13. Matt Campbell has a good thing going at ISU, not sure why he would consider Penn St after all those other candidates passed on them. There's something wrong with the PSU football program and/or AD.
  14. Hatred harms the soul brother Kraft. You should like relax, you'll live longer man. Oregon is prepping for a playoff run, you should concentrate on getting a coach, and having more than two dudes in your 2026 recruiting class.
  15. Last I recall, playoff/bowl games don't count towards the number of games a player participates in during a season. So Stewart should be able to get a medical redshirt even if it's able to help during the CFP.
  16. there is a 3-4 game limit IIRC
  17. I didn’t realize that Evan Stewart had another year. I’m assuming if he played in the playoffs, he wouldn’t jeopardize his eligibility for next year?
  18. Does it kinda suck to lose out on Henry... yeah.. But... BUT! We have as many 5 Star recruits as 3 stars according to Rivals! That is just INSANE!
  19. Henry's delay accomplished one thing. He kept Ryan Day's cardiologist busy.
  20. You hit the nail on the head with this comment about the problem with Campbell. He’s used to getting his 3-star recruits and developing them into a Big 12 contender. Penn State expects top 10 classes with blue chip recruits. Campbell is going to have to battle guys like Day, Lanning, Riley and Moore for the big names. I will also add that James Franklin is going to use his relationships to steal Campbell’s recruits any chance he gets. If Franklin starts winning the ACC then Penn State is going to have to fight a two front war to keep their best players in state. Now, Campbell can choose to go the Curt Cignetti route, but if he so much as loses 3 games the torches and pitchforks are going to make an appearance. They might give him a season to get right, but then it’s time to beat the big boys. He won’t make it past year three if he doesn’t beat Ohio State at least once.
  21. Oh yeah, he’s going to have no problem getting the guy he wants.
  22. Oregon has the No. 3 ranked receiver in the nation along with the No. 15th best receiver in the US signed in this class. Plus we add Brandon Bair, one of the fastest players in America, to the team this fall as well as he returns from a two-year mission. So next year we have Evan Stewart, Dak, McClellan, and a ton of talented freshmen. We are in GREAT shape at receiver... Evan Stewart
  23. Move on to the LSU DT "commit"...are we still in the running for him? E(SEC)PN's #1 ranked recruit
  24. I hear you, but we need to let those who trickle in over the next day or so see the news. It will naturally drop...
  25. Paying top dollar for high school kids is a risky endeavor. Dave Portnoy contributed $12M to get Bryce Underwood to Michigan but is now saying he’s not going to pay any more money to keep him. Underwood was good but he move the needle that much. Awful AnnouncingDave Portnoy won't commit more NIL money to help Michigan...Michigan alum Dave Portnoy put money in the NIL pot to snag Bryce Underwood last year, but won't commit any more to keep him in Ann Arbor.
  26. How does this guy still have a job??? I would be embarrassed if I was a Penn St. fan. Wait until the transfer portal decimates their roster even more. It may take many years for Penn St. to recover and be relevant in college football again.
  27. I get the feeling that while Oregon is competitive with anyone, when it comes to NIL, it doesn’t want to set the market, especially for QB and skilled players. Thus Oregon loses out on the top, top recruits from time to time when it comes down to a NIL bidding war. Best of luck to Chris Henry, Jr. except when he plays Oregon. More reason to hate Ohio State and want to beat them on the field. We have an outstanding recruiting class and I wouldn’t trade Coach Lanning for anyone.
