  2. Yeah I'm not sure about it. Just passing it on for the hell of it. But again I have no evidence. I also don't know quite how official the injury reports are. They need to be filed in know but how definitive do they actually need to be?
  3. So if both Moga and Novosad have burned their redshirt, then why are they not brought in to play or has Brock Thomas beat them out on the depth chart? Who comes in if we need backup and are in a real tight game?
  4. Oregon's official roster on goducks.com lists Novosad as a redshirt sophomore and Moga as a redshirt freshman. Interesting rumor about a possible medical redshirt for Novosad. I would guess that the coaches hope to redshirt freshman Akili Smith JR.
  5. I didn’t see Novosad on the injury report. It’s going to be hard to get a medical redshirt authorized if he isn’t listed as injured.
  6. I don't think Novosad or Moga have redshirts at this point. Pretty sure Novosad used his in 23 with Nix's last season. Pretty sure Moga has also burned a redshirt sitting behind Gabriel. So I haven't got a clue what is going on but I'm pretty sure there aren't any redshirts here. Now.. i did read a rumor that maybe they are trying to get Novosad a medical redshirt and for that he can't appear in any additional games while being injured. But that's just a rumor and I have zero evidence.
  7. I was wondering the same thing when Brock Thomas was put in to relieve Dante Moore. What happened to Novosad and Moga?
  8. Today
  9. Quarterback #1 is Dante Moore and there is no debate. Now what happens if Dante gets dinged up (God forbid) in an important game like at Iowa. What is the real depth in this QB room as opposed to what is on paper. Is Brock Thomas really #2? Maybe he deserves it but is he good enough? Are Austin Novosad and Luke Moga both choosing to redshirt and are really not available? Is Akili Smith Jr. available? I am confused and not in a good way. Any thoughts?
  10. 2025 College Football Rankings: Alabama, Vanderbilt Climb; Miami, Texas Tech Slide here's a look at my Top 25 rankings following Week 8 of the college football season:
  11. Very suprised that Stein used a few counters and misdirections in the running game. Those play calls froze the Rutgers linebackers and left them flatfooted. this took pressure off DM. IU linebackers were on their toes movIng and forcing pressure on DM. The biggest surprise was designed runs for Dante. All of this, coupled with strong blocking helped light up the scoreboard. It was exciting to see a massive Duck O lineman and Sadiq 40 yards downfield blocking for Dante when the turf monster got him. Go Ducks.....

  15. True freshmen tracker: Three find the end zone and Cooper Perry plays fifth game to avoid redshirt Oregon freshman wide receiver Dakorien Moore and running backs Jordon Davison and Dierre Hill Jr. scored touchdowns in the 56-10 blowout of Rutgers, and Cooper Perry played his fifth game and can no longer redshirt.
  16. Dan Lanning says holding Kenyon Sadiq out 'probably just more precautionary' Oregon coach Dan Lanning says Kenyon Sadiq's second half absence was mostly a "precautionary" move. The Ducks beat Rutgers 56-10 on Saturday night.
  17. Rutgers coach Greg Schiano on 56-10 loss to Oregon: 'We ran into a buzzsaw' See what Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano said after falling 56-10 to Oregon and allowing 750 yards of offense.
  18. Nice to see Vandy take it to LSU, Georgia play tough right through to the end against Ole Miss, enjoy the total dogfight between Utah and BYU, and see Arizona State beat Texas Tech. Good going Dilly! TOSU looks like the most capable scoring machine on the field this year and with a freshman QB who is shockingly good.
  19. Biggest surprise was how lame the Scarlet Knights offense looked against the Ducks. They seemed more capable the few times I've seen them play this year. Second biggest was the absence of Novostad. What's that all about?

  21. Novasad was at the game, dressed to play. I think he may still not be completely well and would have only gone in if Moore went down and the game was close. Not sure why Moga didn't play, but Brock has clearly earned the playing time to be out there, and he did good, so good for him.
  22. I was only mildly surprised at our offensive performance, since Rutgers has a horrible defense, especially when it comes to explosive plays. I was extremely surprised how much our defense dominated them, because their offense was supposed to be pretty good. The most surprising thing for me this game was learning from the announcer that Rutgers started in 1766, 10 years before the Declaration of Independence. That's freaking old.
  23. OMG... The Comedy of Errors of lil bro up north may turn into OSU's first win of the season, vs powerhouse LAFAYETTE. The Beavs have over 260 rushing, and lead 38-13. Amazing what happens when a middling FCS opponent plays a late night game 3 time zones west... The Leopards body clock is around 2am by now.
  24. According to various chat board reports Novosad was injured earlier this year. As I recall, he did not make the trip to Northwestern, for example. Akili Jr. is redshirting. On the meter that measures 4 game limit during regular season to not lose a year of eligibility, the 2025 participation meter shows: Moore: 7 games Thomas: 5 games Moga: 3 in 2025, was under 4 in 2024 Novosad: 1 in 2025, was under 4 in 2024 and 2023. But, Novosad has already been around 2 seasons and played under 4 in both. If so, his 5 years to play 4 would already have used up a redshirt, plus one, leaving 3 including 2025. Maybe they are hoping 2025 can be appealed to add back the year as an injury year so he would have 3 instead of 2? There are such NCAA appeals available. Sometimes, lately, the program and the kid cooperate to keep the year of eligibility, so he is more attractive if he decides to transfer. Not suggesting that is happening right now between Novosad and Oregon staff...I have no idea...but it does happen more frequently now around college football.
  25. Well Kirk is now doing MNF, he's doing the 3:30 ET games. He has that segment where he travels from Game day to whatever game he's doing with his dog Peter. Franklin might get the Saban rub that way. Would it still count?
