  2. He died at age 95, and has been in so many great roles. Most like his performance best in Apocalypse Now, or the Godfather series, which I can't disagree with. Others point to the Lonesome Dove series... I liked him best in the western, Open Range. Which is your favorite?

  4. The USA women became the first team in Olympic history to record a shutout in their first four games. That includes a 5-0 win over Canada. Let's go USA!!! As for the USA men, they needed overtime to beat Sweden. But Sweden was one of only four teams in the field to have a roster of only NHL players. Canada almost lost their game today, needing a last minute goal to get to overtime. They lost their captain though (Sidney Crosby). Let's go USA!!! As for college basketball, it's getting close to March. With NIL, will we be seeing any Cinderella run? Saint Louis or undefeated Miami of Ohio. Will we get chalk like last year? Right now the Big 12 looks like the conference with two potential one seeds. They have four top ten teams in Iowa State, Houston, Arizona, and Kansas. Plus ranked BYU, Texas Tech(who has beaten Houston and Arizona).
  5. USA Women vs. Canada Gold Medal Game - Thursday, February 22nd USA Network 3 EST/ Noon Pacific The USA Women's Team features Captain Hillary Knight, Minnesota, competing in her 5th Olympiad. Hillary is the Women's Hockey trailblazer. Her play for the Golden Gophers helped put Women's ice hockey on the college sports map. Twelve more B1G players will be on the ice for the Gold Medal game: Minnesota - Lee Stricklin, Kelly Pannek, Grace Zumwinkle, Taylor Heise, and Abbey Murphy. Wisconsin - Caroline Harvey, Kirsten Sims, Laila Edwards, and Ava McNaughten Ohio State - Hannah Bilka, Joy Dunne Penn State - Tessa Janecke Disclosure - I have an additional reason to cheer on the USA. For the 8th time, Ms. AJ Mleczko will be the color commentator for NBC's broadcast of the Olympic Gold Medal game. AJ was an All-American player at Harvard and played on a USA Olympic Gold Medal team. AJ's Dad, Tom Mleczko, a/k/a 'Eye Chart', was my college roommate. --- Men's hockey semifinal games on Friday: USA vs. Slovakia/ Canada vs. Finland. So, Hosers, it's odds on for another Gold Medal game matchup between the Canucks and the Yanks on NBC - Sunday, 2/22, 8 AM EST/ 5 AM Pacific - 😧 Men's Hockey team - Michigan - Kevin Connor, Quinn Hughes, Dylan Larkin, and Zack Werenski Minnesota - Brock Faber - This guy definitely should have played for Faber College, where Knowledge is Good 😁 ... Roundball Heads Up - ESPN Saturday 6:30 PM EST/ 3:30 Pacific In a possible champ game preview, No. 1 Michigan vs. No. 3 Duke

  8. Sign is just a suggestion….looks good to me. Wood bridge in Oregon that has thousands cross…more surprised that it lasted this long. They better have a few extra batteries and blades for that sawzall, if that is all they are using. I like how the guy has his tools scattered all around. Apparently a lot easier to find.

  13. And yet somehow he was first team all B1G and will be the first TE off the board in the draft.
  14. Thanks for posting this sports fan, and giving us perspective on the conference. We will still have a tough series with Beavis, and this alerts us to a tough Michigan trip. We also have a tough trip to UC San Diego, as the not only took a game from UCLA, but the Bruins are ranked No. 1 or No. 2 in the nation in most polls. And yep...the Huskies are coming out of the gate slow, but they will play their best against us when we have to visit them. Great stuff, and thanks again for posting.
  15. As a tight end Sadiq wasn't going to be a full time receiver but also a blocker. Sadiq was used in so many different ways this seasons but a lot of his plays were also him just blocking. Sure he had some spectacular games as a receiver and some amazing plays but tight ends spend a whole lot of time blocking. Also Sadiq was banged up for a good 3ish weeks in there. He disappeared in the first Indiana game because of injury. Against Washington Sadiq was targeted a lot but he dropped a TON of passes that game. Against Texas Tech he got a lot of targets early but Johnson started to get open more as teams keyed in on Sadiq.
  16. Houston sounds like a tough outing!
  17. Taking a quick look at some of the games played this past weekend. The Indiana Hoosiers, who are expected to be a challenge this season, lost all three games to a ranked North Carolina team. The games were played in Chapel Hill. USC won all three and UCLA went 2-1, losing a close one to U.C. San Diego. Although the Michigan Wolverines aren't expected to be much of a threat, they played well, winning against Arizona, Stanford and split a two-game series with the Rodents of Corn Valley. The Ducks play Michigan at Ann Arbor the first week of April. And I have saved the best for last. The Leg Lifters LOST all four games this past weekend in Puerto Rico. Here are the results: North Carolina St. 13 Washington 0 Wake Forest 5 Washington 0 Boston College 10 Washington 0 Houston 8 Washington 7
  18. Perhaps Justin Herbert? Who would have guessed he'd be the second coming of Dan Fouts in the NFL after the way he was underutilized in college? But hey, he learned how to be physical and fight in a phone booth under MC!
  19. will they use him? we completely wasted Kenyon Sadiq. I cant think of another Oregon player who we completely dropped the ball on like Sadiq since Ive been a fan which is 2007
  20. Top portal player for every ESPN preseason top 25 team. DT Gray at Notre Dame and RB Limar at UW make the list. It's black and white, not Gray, to me; I want Gray back! 21. Oregon Looking to Flip Quarterback Recruit From the SECThe Oregon Ducks are targeting a quarterback in the 2027 recruiting class, but will need to flip him from a notable SEC team in order to secure a commitment. It's no secret that in this age of recruiting, a verbal commitment often means little, so the Ducks will certainly be doing their due diligence regardless of a player's commitment status. Oregon Ducks On SIOregon Looking to Flip Quarterback Recruit From the SECThe Oregon Ducks have retooled their roster for 2026 out of the transfer portal this offseason, and it appears the dust has settled in that regard. But as is th

Oregon Ducks On SIJosh Pate Reveals True Opinion of Oregon Under Dan LanningThe offseason is in full swing as the college football calendar eventually turns towards spring practices and eventually spring games before the arrival of fall
  24. And if you really want to pile on, two of the teams (CSU and USU) ranked ahead of them also replaced their coaches the same week as Beavis…so they can’t even hang their hats on the new coach starting late in the cycle. I might start to feel sorry for them when this coach doesn’t work out like they thought.
  25. Columbus would’ve turned back if that’s all he found.
