  2. I thought Oregon was going to be in the market, and likely the favorites to land Leavitt, or Sorsby.
  3. We need to fix the playoff, sorry to all G6 programs. But two out of four legitimate playoff games, is a joke. I'm not saying freeze them out. But, you have to make them earn it. Cincy in 2021 did that, they beat Indian, and Notre Dame on the road. They had taken Georgia to the limit in the Peach Bowl the previous year. They went undefeated, and there weren't any other undefeated teams below them. Tulane lost two games, they got beaten down by thirty plus points to Ole Miss. James Madison lost by double digits to Louisville, and didn't play anybody close to the top 25. Oregon is going to steamroll them. We all know it. A playoff game shouldn't be over before it even began. We should've seen Notre Dame vs Oregon. We should've seen Vanderbilt at Ole Miss. Okay.... I'm off my soapbox. Ole Miss vs Georgia should be a great game. Tulane had a great season.
  4. I think his completion percent is a bit lower than what Oregon is looking for.
  5. I think Oregon is going to be a threat every year. There might be years like last, where you go into the playoffs thinking title or bust. There might be years where you sneak in like Alabama this year, or Clemson last year. Where you have the talent, and pedigree to be dangerous. But, you kind of see the postseason as playing with house money. I think Oregon is in between right now, which is a great spot tbh. You have to win today, but after that? Nobody is going to say any result is shocking. Texas Tech is very similar to Oregon. They've blown out several teams, including their best opponent in BYU twice. But, they lack a true highlight win. We think Texas Tech is legitimate, but we need to see more. It's really the same with Oregon. I think Oregon is capable of beating Indiana, Ohio State, and Georgia. But there is a gap between those three, and the next level imo. Georgia, and Ohio State have proven championship pedigree. Indiana proved they are legit, they beat Ohio State in a neutral site game. It wasn't fluky, there wasn't any weather. They just lined up, and beat them. To me, Oregon has already had a very good year. But, we need to see Oregon beat one of the big three to make it great. Beating two of them? We know what that means. Legendary, and the first National Title in program history!!
  6. Stranger things have happened, but could the Oregon versus James Madison game today, and the related preparation and film study, turn out to be an interview for Dante Moore’s replacement. He is shorter than the prototype QB, but is an RPO QB, and the Sunbelt conference player of the year. He is also on record to say that the Ducks were his dream school when he was a kid. As you watch today’s game make your personal assessment of whether Barnett has what it takes to become a Duck and drive the Lambo.
  7. Yesterday
  8. 2 minutes remain in game. MSU leads Montana 48-23 in FCS semi-final. Will play winner of Villanova vs Illinois State in Nashville title game.
  9. I think it will be much worse honestly. Hopefully it will be a good warmup game for the Ducks to get ready for the next round. Been awhile since they’ve played
  10. What's with the field goals in this playoff?
  11. Crepea: Moore, Stewart and Bryant in full pads.
  12. Was really hoping to see a Mari Cristbal scowl today. To be fair, Cristbal teams have mostly been competitive and up to the task against legitimate competition. It’s the JV teams he struggles against. Perhaps the playoff is just what the Dr. ordered for MC: no sub-par teams to choke against. Cristbal should feel very fortunate they didn’t get matched up with Tulane or JMU.
  13. Crepea: Laulea has appeared for warmups. No sign of Bryant - yet.
  14. Crepea notes: WRs Moore and Stewart, and RB Makhi Hughes on the field in warmups. WR Bryant has yet to appear, but is not on (non) availability report. CB Sione Laulea no longer on (non) availability report.
  15. Ole Missmatch/Tulane game. Thinking the UO/JMU game may look familiar.
  16. I’m so ready for the late game to come on! If I gotta watch a butt-whippen I at least wanna see a team I’m pulling for doing the whipping!
  17. He probably saw what happened to Johnathan Smith.
  18. So far Ole Miss seems to be dealing with it ok. But then again they're playing Tulane so....
  19. 10.5 points is "Brutal"? Click bait much? If Mari only loses by that much to the same team that blew us out, what does that say? 😢
  20. Man I think a lot of these scores are too high. Oregon wins 29-8 2 4 265
  21. The best news? Crickets from South Bend. Miami beat ND, and beat the team that also beat ND. 😁👍👌❤️😍. Miami did not leave Florida before November, when the Canes tripped to Dallas to play and lose to SMU. Mario is now 1-1 in Texas, with the next game in the Cotton Bowl on December 31st. Today's game featured not-so-special teams. As was the case against Texas, the A&M offense was nowhere to be found. Aggies fans are probably happy to say 'Adios' to OC Colin Klein on his return to the Little Apple. Road teams in 1st round PO games are now 4-2. Miami, great defense played today, but if you can't score against A&M, what about TOSU? This is an A&M D that gave up 41 points to Notre Dame and 42 points to Arkansas. With some of the licks on Miami's DBs, are all of the U's DBs going to be ready to go on New Year's Eve? Ohio State's WRs are 'slightly' better than the Aggies' WRs. The Buckeyes open at -10.5 Saturday BlitzThe initial line for Miami–Ohio State is a brutal indictm...The Miami Hurricanes went on the road on Saturday and upset Texas A&M, giving the program it's biggest win since the early 2000's. The Hurricanes' defense was d
  22. An indication of the value (or lack thereof) of Lame Kiffin to the Ol’ Miss season?
